And this reminds me when I was at the Army Declassification Office in 1998, I had to argue and finally show Eisenhower’s Post-WW2 declassification order, before the Declass director agreed that the original Operation Overlord documents still marked at TS/Bigot were NOT still classified under the EO 12598 that said “Operations orders are to be/remain classified.” Without convincing her of that, all copies of the Overlord OpPlan would have been officially reclassified as Top Secret.
