That’s a $45 million mic he just dropped, not counting the verdicts against him in his upcoming trials that have yet to be awarded.

Its capped at $750,000 per plaintiff in Texas. So the award will be massively reduced...and that’s if the Texas Supreme Court doesn’t take up the case. He was never allowed by the Commie judge to put on a Defense.

Its capped at $750,000 per plaintiff in Texas.

It's capped at double the compensatory damages (2 x $4.1 million), PLUS $750,000, per plaintiff, per defendant. So do some math and that could get pretty steep.

I got the law right here: https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/CP/htm/CP.41.htm

Yup.

“As Bloomberg explains, Texas law caps punitive damages at twice the level of compensatory economic damages per defendant plus a maximum of $750,000 for non-economic damages. Jones’ attorneys plan to file for a reduction of the fine based on that rule, something the plaintiffs’ attorneys told Bloomberg they will “certainly litigate” if necessary.”

Gotta love that liberal editorial language right there (’rule’ vs. ‘law’).

That, and everybody’s an expert when they have a keyboard. /s

He has no defense. He is a loon who is getting what he deserves. There will be nothing left after appeals, additional civil trials, lawyer fees, etc. There is still good news - occasionally.

He could certainly mount a defense. This trial has been a complete sham. Leftists who hate him forum shopped for the most Leftist courts they could find and sued him there. The hardcore Leftist judge dutifully then found BS grounds to deny him his right to a trial by jury.

Its just a shame that some Conservatives have been taken in by the corporate media narrative. If you’d think anybody would know better than to believe the lies put out by the corporate media it would be Conservatives after the last several years.

When Hillary named Jones in the presidential debate, his fate was sealed. The DNC blames Alex Jones for the defeat of Hillary in 2016.

Texas has a cap. He won’t pay anywhere near that kind of money. Its more like $3 million

The judge wouldn’t allow a defense. She broke just about every constitutional right there is.

Its sickening how some people on here are just fine about that because its someone they don’t like. It wont stop at just Jones.

By the way, it was a hoax.

Jones was arrogant and refused to cooperate in the initial phases of the cases (plural) against him in Texas and Connecticut. He missed depositions and hearings, and didn’t turn over records that had been subpoenaed. As a result he had default judgements entered against him in both Texas and Connecticut.

He had a very good chance of winning both those cases in TX and CT because it’s extremely hard to prove defamation in a legal sense in court. He made little effort to defend himself and the irony is he had plenty of money to do so.

He’s going around crying like a little girl now, saying that it was all unfair and ‘they’ are out to get him. He got himself by not doing what was required from the beginning.

Some of us don’t like to click links without at least some idea of what it is. The way you posted it might as well be spam. You could at least give a two sentence description, dummy.

Then don’t click on it and stay in your safe space. Rumble had it on their homepage. They didn’t need a description. Then neither does here.

I’d love to know what you think that freaks defense would have been. Go ahead. I need a laugh this morning.
