Well that’s actually the way the front line war should be conducted. Not with carpet bombing. Because that suggests a lot of bombs that fall on nothing.
Rather the ticket is to get drone’s to every ukrainian front line soldier. Rather than advance with guns. They advance with drones.
Additionally, they would have soldiers whose job was to draw fire in cases where it was not completely clear where the Russian troops were. They might even be able to do the same thing with drone bombs that would scare russian troops into revealing their position.
I saw elsewhere that the ukes had taken out a russian armaments train as it was being offloaded east Kherson.
That solution for the Russians was the next step after their ammo depots were taken out. Likely their reasoning was that they might be able to offload the train before they were blown up.
They were wrong.
So what do they do next?
Well they have to get the offloading out of range of HIMARS or whatever it was that took out the train, killed a bunch of russian soldiers and wrecked the tracks.
They also have to know—if it wasn’t cristal clear before —that their movements are completely visible.
So what happens if they offload further back?
Longer runs for the trucks. There are going to be a lot of small streams with small bridges that could be targeted.
If the ukes could track the trains—they can track the trucks. They will likely come in big convoys. All the ukes need to do is find a creek that they could bomb in front of the convoys to stop them. Then drone the trucks one by one.

Stalemate. Russia simply does not have enough offensive capability to seize Ukraine. Their elite VDK airborne troops are wiped out. Their tank divisions are destroyed. Their artillery is still doing a lot of damage though.
Ukraine does not have enough offensive capability to take their occupied territories back. So it's a stalemate.
