Did you watch the video and see the stress and rage that man was fighting back? I don’t know what your life experience is but in mine when I see someone tweaking like that it’s either drugs or they’re about to go off. Violently.
I’ll assume that Wray wasn’t on meth when he went to this hearing so I’m going with rage.

What’s ironic here is that I learned about ‘leakage’ from the FBI!
People will leak their emotional state in various ways. Like their social media posts become obsessed with violence, they snap at people, and their facial expressions can betray extreme stress.
Wray is not accustomed to having anyone challenge him because in his world he’s The Man and he’s surrounded by toadies who do as he says. Ted Cruz managed to put that man under some serious stress and like I said, I can imagine that Wray was thinking about what he’d like to do.
I’d assume that Wray won’t actually do any such thing but given his leakage on national television I would not be surprised if he didn’t find another way to retaliate against Ted Cruz.
