However, my point was, it's not John's dad, Megan's grandfather, but her father which you stated that it was actually her grandfather who was the fraud.
What am I missing here? 🙂
Well...she has two Grandfather’s, not one named McCain only.
The other grandfather is Jim Hensley, the guy with the cash that Cindy inherited.
And that’s the guy who had the real political pull in Arizona.
Rough character. From his bio on the ever biased Wikipedia site, but which is relatively straight forward:
“In 1981, Hensley hired his new son-in-law John McCain, who had married his daughter Cindy the previous year, as Vice President of Public Relations for Hensley & Co.[23] McCain soon left to begin his Congressional career with a victory in the 1982 election for U.S. House of Representatives. Jim Hensley’s past record with the law, as well as his past connection to Marley (who was suspected by the police in the 1976 car-bomb murder of Arizona Republic investigative reporter Don Bolles[5]), were raised by McCain’s opponent in the 1986 general election campaign for the U.S. Senate.[14] McCain won that election handily”
Johnny always came out ahead. “The longest I ever lived anywhere was Hanoi”. Great line.
