LMAO, these threads are utterly, and I mean utterly, hilarious given its the same FR peeps over and over and over and over and over and over posting to them.
Going to laugh my arse off just in spite of them when Ukraine literally implodes economically and militarily. Not a matter of ‘if’, it’s a matter of when. Bet.
Go eat your Borschit, Dirty RuZZian
Each side wants to keep up the spirit of their people and armed forces.
***If you’re losing ground, that’s not what you’ll want to talk about.***
Of course, the real cause of the war was Ukraine’s attempt in entering NATO, and that ain’t happening. The political security objective for Ukraine has already failed.
Ukraine will not enter the EU, something which was actually very likely before the war. The EU won’t want a liability like that. All the talk you hear in the West is free, it’s just political posturing but they won’t want Ukraine in their club now. That was another big dream of Ukraine, and this too has been delayed at best.
An Industrial area in the East as well as port city were two key strategic areas in this war. Russia has taken the port city and the industrial area.
As to the land seized. It was always known that Russia will likely limit their advance to the predominately ethnic Russian areas. The Russians do not want a protracted conflict which drains their resources over decades. That is what the Russians have done.

So... Ukraine can talk about 144 million dead Russians, Putin getting over thrown, a Ukrainian counter offensive, the Ruble collapsing and every Russian tank having been destroyed, but there still is such a thing as an objective reality, and by all accounts Ukraine has lost and Russia won. One side has accomplished their political and mostly their military objectives, the other side has not.
Albeit, Ukraine bit Russia harder than anyone could have imagined.

Its a teaching moment that we as adults must be patient with. We can only help so much. The training wheels must eventually come off. Until then we give guidance, and encouragement to the children :)
