What could save the Rats is the Republicant’s usual incompetence in running a cohesive campaign to have a message other than “We Suck Less!”
BTTT
I still hear the Roe energizing effect on leftists will be a bounteous gift for the Dems. Hope that is premature.
We have to hope gas and groceries and other important items will still be costly, the stock market will go down and recession will be declared BEFORE the election.
But mainly, even with our shoddy and wimpy slates of GOP candidates, we will fight hard and get out and vote to save this great country.
No excuses.
The Court never ruled that the result of the abortion had to be a dead baby, much to the joy of the eugenic-biomedical establishment
You'd think republicans would see that as deserving of some pre-election publicity.
Nonetheless the issue frightens me. All I’ve ever seen it do is get good candidates for public offices defeated by vermin. Women are still 51% of all voters, everywhere on Earth.
What ?
Steal, kill and destroy is a hard sell ?
Progs are oblivious.
The people most likely to have a conniption over Roe being overturned are overwhelmingly people who were going to show up and were going to vote Democrat ANYWAY. ie this did not gain them hardly any new voters.
The ones who are most ardent about it are middle aged and older women and a handful of Left leaning men (afraid this would make it more likely they would have to take responsibility for their kids). Its not 1990 anymore. There isn’t a large youth movement that is rabidly pro abortion.
This is particularly so as more voters see that this doesn’t make abortion illegal - it merely returns the issue to the states. Also, most of the American people would allow it but with restrictions (ie not beyond the first trimester, waiting periods, counseling first, parental consent for minors required, all OK, etc). In other words, most Americans are fairly moderate on the issue. 3rd trimester abortions are seen as absolutely grotesque by all but a tiny handful of abortion zealots.
The Left went way too far in calling for abortion right up to birth, “celebrate” your abortion rather than it being safe, legal and rare, etc. That turned off a lot of people.
As usual, the economy will be the #1 issue and that’s been awful.
New Poll Hints That Defending Abortion Is Not the Killer Issue the Democrats Thought Would Save Them From Voters in November
—
Actually abortion is a killer issue; literally.
White woketards get all giddy over the possibility of Blacks outnumbering Whites within a couple of more generations. When Colbert brought that up in one of his monologues his 99+% White audience had spontaneous orgasms. It probably would’ve happened by now if it weren’t for abortion.🙄😖

Biden Offers Abortion-Rights Lawyer as Judge After Alleged Deal Controversy
Jake Thomas - Yesterday 7:47 PM
Julie Rikelman, a prominent reproductive rights attorney, has been nominated for an appeals court seat by President Joe Biden, who had earlier come under fire for reportedly agreeing to appoint an anti-abortion lawyer to the federal judiciary.
The White House on Friday announced that Rikelman’s nomination will be included among eight of Biden’s judicial picks. Rikelman represented the Mississippi clinic that was at the center of the Supreme Court’s bombshell opinion nullifying national abortion rights. The nomination follows the unraveling of a reported deal by Biden to appoint a conservative jurist to federal judiciary, a move which stirred up the president’s base.
