"The war in Ukraine is in its sixth month, and there’s no end in sight. Here’s what we know…
Almost everything you heard about the war in Ukraine from U.S. media over the course of March, April and May was a lie. **** It’s not that I’m pro-Russian — I’m not. I’m pro-truth. And I don’t defend the Russian invasion in any way (although I do understand it).
Even Bloomberg and The New York Times are now starting to admit that the war is a lost cause for Ukraine and the U.S. economy is suffering from sanctions aimed at Russia. But it’s a little late for legacy media to get their story straight.
What we know right now is the economic damage to the U.S. economy will get much worse before the economy gets better. Biden won’t stop the sanctions soon. That means the trashing of the U.S. economy will continue."

DoD said publicy their goal is to destablize Russia and remove Putin. I guess the next one will be much better.
Billions & Billions -Carl Sagan
If NATO doesn’t threaten Russia then how a new USSR threatens the US?
Who is we?
I say screw Ukraine and Biden. Our country’s economy is hurting and we’re suppose to bail out Ukraine? I say no.
Try to see that statement from the average joe in Ukraine’s point of view.
There’s never hoing to be a better deal worth signing with Russia than the deal that created the Commonwealth of INDEPENDENT States, and the Budapest Memorandum.
Both of which Putin has repeatedly said, should never have been signed.
Without those agreements in place Ukraine always has believed Putin would’ve dragged them back into vassal statehood - and then published them severely for not following Belarus into lapdog servitude.
But Ukraine isn’t alone in that. The Baltic states have always distrusted Putin for the exact same reason.
The Russians have always called Ukrainians “khokols” - because ukes are the untermensch - but now the dehumanising language has hone so far that in Russia now it’s considered perfectly okay to post up an uncensored picture of a Downs kid with her back blown to bits and CELEBRATE her death.
That’s a level of social depravity that even Nazi Germany didn’t manage. The Nazis hid what they did to the Jews, Russia openly celebrates what it’s doing to ordinary Ukrainians.
Asking the Ukes to accept whatever Russia decides to do to them even after seeing THAT is contrary to the foundational principles behind the United Nations membership of both countries, post USSR.
And a bit like telling the Jews in Eastern Europe to just grin and bear whatever was headed their way even after Hitler had made his expansion agenda clear.
Cut a deal with Russia?! Ukraine already had the three best deals it could’ve ever had, torn up all on one day in feb 2022.
Churchill said it best: “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile-hoping it will eat him last.”
No. Appeasement simply delays the inevitable and empowers Putin even more.
It doesn’t threaten the US. It imperils half of Europe.
Don’t know if you have noticed this but the rest of the world outside of Europe is not exactly brimming with love gor the USA. Empowering your own mortal enemy to attack your best friends hardly looks like a good idea.
The reason we have economic problems has less to do with war than it does with the fact that we finance sloth and allow so many people, even young and strong kids, to get on and stay on permanent disability when they aren’t truly unfit to work, and hand them free phones, free food, and subsidized housing, insuring they stay unmotivated forever.
Best friends, mortal enemy...Based on what criteria is it?
Going along with what you said, a lot of leftists are celebrating what they call the "Great Resignation", which is basically just people quitting their jobs because they are tired of being "wage slaves."
Of course, fewer people working inevitably means the government provides more direct and indirect benefits, but also means that there are fewer goods and services in the economy for purchase. That's easy to see in much of the service industry that simply cannot hire workers. Because there are fewer goods and services to be purchased, and more money being floated around, the inevitable result is rapid inflation.
But let's blame that on our support for Ukraine's military resistance....
China’s the biggest threat to America now. Since Reagan’s days in power the USA has happily thrown jobs and companies under the bus while corporate gangsterism and carpet bagging ran amok.
China and Russia were in cahoots then.
Russia took it to the next level with the Putin regime. Because they’ve had nothing but a blind eye turned to it, both nations are fully convinced that America has no moral code and would happily sell its own gran for a percentage.
Deep State, China and Russia all exist because rampant corporate greed was left so unchecked that it went global and it has hit a level of amoral gangsterism that is ALMOST too big to fail.
America’s mortal enemy is rampant, unrestrained carpet bagging. Russia is the world leader in hostile acquisition. China is the world leader in anticompetitive practices. And Bilderberg/Davos is a network of enablers.
To break it, you need to break one of the three pillars of it.
China’s too big. The globalist enablers across the West are too distributed.
Russia is therefore the one place where you can really do damage to it.
Taking Russia’s side on this is completely anti American. Not because of Ukraine but because Russia’s entire machinery of power exists to establish Putin’s new world order.
Which is globalism, but one that is controlled by Russia and China AND where one key aim of the game is to weaken America. Not with nukes, but through economic and technical suffocation.
Okay, so you agree that NATO doesn't threaten Russia? If you agree with that, then I'll answer your question.
That’s idiotic assumption. NATO was created to counter the USSR. After the USSR disappeared its function was to maintain its viability by antagonizing Russia which wasn’t a threat.
Which is globalism, but one that is controlled by Russia and China AND where one key aim of the game is to weaken America. Not with nukes, but through economic and technical suffocation.
Perfect. The only thing I'd add is that while they won't use military force against the U.S., they're perfectly willing to use it against other countries as part of that economic and technical suffocation.
The idea that Putin is somehow our "friend" because of the "enemy of my enemy" schtick is wrong for exactly the reason you pointed out. Putin is a globalist. He just wants Russia and China sitting at the top of that globalist heap.
That is all globalist talk. Russia was on the same page with the US between 1991-2007.
As for China it is not its fault that your business leaders moved manufacturing there. They want their people in middle class. What is bad about it?
Bottomless money pit from hell thanks a lot 🤪
Now that's idiotic. The idea that all those countries put forth the effort to maintain NATO just for the juvenile purpose of antagonizing Russia is a real laugher. While individuals sometimes do things for that reason, entire nations don't. Heck, a bunch of NATO members waned to be on Russia's good side.
You could go with Lord Ismay and say that NATO was created to keep "The Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down", but it all boils down to stability and peace. And after the fall of the Soviet Union,, there was a belief in both Western Europe and the U.S. that NATO accomplished exactly that. Especially given that it had not been very long at all since some of those allies had been fighting a very brutal war against each other. So given that NATO had maintained peace and stability in Western Europe for more thank half a century, keeping it in place was the smart thing to do.
The inarguable fact is that NATO keeps peace among its member states, and discourages aggression from others. And that's exactly why you add states to it when they are ready, because that means you've expanded the universe of those who won't fight among themselves, and who won't be attacked. That's also why Putin's bid to join NATO -- while demanding that Russia not have to wait for those things to happen -- was rejected.
The only reason Russian troops aren't in Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn is because they are members of NATO, because he'd have snatched them up at the same time he invaded Ukraine.
Russia’s revenues from oil and natural gas exports are at all-time highs. The Russian ruble is much stronger today than it was when the war began. China and India are buying all the Russian oil that Europe is refusing to buy.
Meanwhile, the economies of the U.S. and the EU are in or very near to recession. Inflation is out of control in the West. Commodity shortages will lead quickly to food shortages and more empty shelves in supermarkets.
Across the board, Biden’s economic sanctions have backfired and are hurting the U.S. and Europe far more than they are hurting Russia.
I’m not American.
The biggest industries to be offshored are microelectronics (moves were beneficial to Japan, Korea and Taiwan who’d expanses into Europe) and coal (an entire industry practically mothballed by that great visionary Maggie Thatcher because crushing the unions and getting cheaper coal imported made far more sense to her than figuring out how to be digging out our own reserves at lower cost).
James Dyson said that he supported brexit as it’d be good for British manufacturing, then he shifted production to the far east.
Uk steel was bought up by the Indian magnates during the Blair years. Much of it’s closed since.
Pretty much every major asset stripping offshoring exercise in the UK has been sponsored by globalists - to a man they’re Blairites and Tories.
The guys who hung around on Derepaska’s yacht for example.
