European natural gas inventories rose by +97 BCF over past 7 days.
EU nat gas storage 65% full.
Current inventories at 2493 BCF.
23.8% higher than 1 year ago.
EU goal is at least 80% full by Nov 1st for winter.

Surprising, even impressive storage build over past week. That is with NordStream I shutdown and a heat wave in Europe.
EU might very well hit 80% storage levels even if NordStream I stays closed???

Germany is the weak link. Here is daily build/withdrawals for Germany. Since NordStream I closed on July 11, German storage build has slowed down but has a net build. Small withdrawal 2 days.

Good thing they're not having heat waves in Europe for the next couple of weeks.
That would really put a dent in the winter storage levels...
Rome: avg high - 98 degrees
