How many are hitting residential areas in Donetsk and other settlements?

So nations and people do not have the right to self defense against invaders?

Washington is very happy the cash is flowing again. Another 4 years of Trump would cost them trillions!

NATO will happily fight to the last Ukrainian, as they turn Europe’s breadbasket into another $yria.

Putin has no justification to invade Ukraine for territorial expansion.

Of course he did. Trump would never have let the State Dept. promise NATO membership for Ukraine, as Victoria Nuland and others did all last year. Ukraine with NATO troops equals a fast invasion track right to Moscow. Would we let Russia or China put troops in Mexico or China without a response? We came to the brink of WW3 over missiles in an island off our coast.

“Nonsense. Putin invaded Ukraine because he sensed a weak US presidency in Biden, not because Biden provoked Russia. Biden actually lifted Trump’s sanctions on Nord Stream 2 immediately after becoming president.”

You’re entitled to form your opinions; you are not entitled to form the facts.

Biden encouraged Zelensky to order a decree to recapture Crimea and to end the trouble in Donbass. The order called out for various means including militarily. This decree was enacted 9 months prior to the Russian invasion (but AFTER the Trump administration was no longer in power) and Zelensky prepared to militarily retake ALL of Ukraine by sending additional troops and preparing additional fortifications. I have posted that decree several times on Free Republic. That decree was considered surprising since Zelensky ran on a platform of negotiating a settlement with Russia and got over 70% voter support based on that platform.

After his new decree which ran completely counter to his campaign promises Zelensky’s voter approval dropped to 23% (right before the war.)

I have also posted the Rand Report (which the Biden administration ordered and paid for) multiple times which specifically called out engaging Ukraine militarily as the best choice to “weaken, destabilize” Russia and bring about “regime change.”

Now, that is two specific actual pieces of evidence of the Biden administration’s intentions.

And just to clue you in, and heaven knows you need clues, our Deep State government has exactly the same plan in mind for China. They have been ardently trying to get a country in the region to accept our putting in a missile base with missiles directed towards China. Proxy war #2. Fortunately, so far all 5 of the nations we have worked on have refused.

Of course he did.

That's ridiculous. Ukraine, and every other country on Russia's border has the right to join any alliance they want to. You're arguing that former captive nations should alaways be under Russia's yoke.

Would we let Russia or China put troops in Mexico or China without a response?

Venezuela hosts Russian ships and has announce military cooperation with Russia. We don't invade.

We came to the brink of WW3 over missiles in an island off our coast.

Its not the 1960's of Cuba anymore. Both nations now have nuclear subs off their enemies coastline.

Its retarded to suggest Ukraine without a navy or serious airforce or ballistic missiles was going to recapture Crimea.

So does that mean you think Biden and Zelensky are retarded?

Let me introduce the Ukrainian military THAT WE MADE; TRAINED AND EQUIPPED. Strongest military in Europe except for Russia.

I repeat, its retarded to suggest Ukrain was going to 'recapture' Crimea. You yourself wrote "Strongest military in Europe except for Russia". So how was Ukraine supposed to recapture Crimea from Russia, which has a stronger military? Ukraine with no airforce, no navy and no ballistic missiles. Its Russian conspiracy nonsense.

3,000 rounds per day, is 150 tons, or about one ton of shells, per gun, per day (plus propellant), or one big truckload per day, for a battery of six guns. A couple of dozen rounds fired per day, per gun. Seems quite a sustainable rate of fire.

I don’t believe estimates of the Russians firing 50K shells per day, on a sustained basis. Maybe they massed fires like that for some peak at some point.

However many tubes/crews they had working, they have been subject to attrition and suppression from counter-battery fire, and now their resupply of ammo is under attack.

I suspect that when you add in the greater accuracy of the Western guns/rounds, Russia’s Artillery dominance of the last phase of the war, is not going to carry forward to the next phase.

Instead, Russian forces will have to adapt to the new Ukrainian deep strike capability, throughout most (if not all) of the occupied territory, outside of Crimea.

Let’s talk turkey! The United States of America is no longer the country we knew and loved. It is in a perpetual state of decline. But, our extraordinarily incompetent leadership does not recognize this and operates off the same script as always. We are THE SUPERPOWER OF THE WORLD.

Anyone with an IQ a little north of 100 knew that we no longer had the power to compel the world to do whatever we say and yet we deliberately provoked a military altercation with Russia and apparently truly believed that we could rally the world to destroy their economy...turn their ruble into rubble, blah, blah, blah.

So yes these fools thought that we could assist our well trained client state into defeating Russia. That’s why they chose this plan.

Don’t embarrass yourself further with nonsense like “Its Russian conspiracy nonsense.” That’s not even worthy of a response.

Those 10,000s of vehicles are kept in open air storage and are mostly far beyond repair. Tanks, for one, need weekly maintenance and their engines are mostly ceased by now.

If you post nonsense, such as 'Biden encouraged Zelensky to order a decree to recapture Crimea and to end the trouble in Donbass', I'm going to point out its nonsense since Ukraine is not a serious military threat to Russia. Militarily Ukraine is not able to 'recapture' Crimea with no airforce, navy or cruise missiles. Not surprised you have no response.

this will be a war of attrition. As, in WW2, it will be won by the side that can produce and deliver to the battle field the most munitions.

I think Russian factories will not be able to keep up.

The question in my mind is the resolve of the Ukrainian allies?
