No comment myself, but here is one of the commenters of the article:

... That she LOUDLY banged on relentlessly about "Police Accountability & Reform. "

(While her "oppressed" communerty of neighborhoodians voter base has been doing their thang for the last 50+ years)

Which is nothing more than the communist/lefty-liberal destructionists fantasy of installing de facto and de jure "police duty to retreat" from observing/investigating, pursuing/arresting violent street criminals along with actually enforcing laws that enshrine and promulgate the ideas and ideals of Public Order, Public Peace and Public Safety as being the hallmarks of a healthy, thriving and passingly civilized and passingly habitable municipal incorporation.

Which is the very thing that the City of Chicago has CEASED being many years ago.

All by deliberate design to make the eee-vil huwite supreme racist POLICE leave the "oppressed" ceaselessly seething, resentful and vengeful, breath-takingly hateful and violent excuse-making community of neighborhoodians alone and stop subjecting them to the huwite supreme racism of Public Order, Public Peace and Public Safety along with the "racist" socially acceptable behaviors that pivot on the bedrock/revered (in MOST Western cultural and societal settings) Judeo-Christian ethos/values that Western Civilization cannot survive without...

Remember, some knuckleheaded communerty neighborhoodian spokes-weasel went on a rant saying: "If'n WE can't have peace an' safety (from each other) then Y'ALL can't have peace an' safety (from US) either!"

Or is unbuckling and unfastening Western Civilization to shove it into the abyss - what the loudly yowling, perpetually inflamed and outraged, non-contributory adult children are actively attempting to accomplish?

The only ones who are ending up truly sad, sick, sore and sorry over the controlled demolition of Chicago by Mayor Sir/Ma'am, Cabrini Kim, Toni The Crazy Cat-Lady and the rest of the leftist cabal; are the upright and law-abiding people who pay the high-as-a-southbound flying goose's @$$ - freight that makes Chicago go, are the very much trod-upon Chicago tax-serfs.

We are watching in real time the destruction of another of our major cities. And who will pick up the pieces?

Maybe a multi-national or other company that loves itself some real estate in its portfolio.

In San Francisco, voters threw out Soros backed prosecutor Chesa Boudin out of office.

Yes, but they didn’t replace Boudin with a non-nutter. The Mayor will appoint a successor to serve until next year’s election, but I don’t expect that person to be much different.

Wilson is now seeking a multimillion-dollar payday.

He will probably win.

If you are a white cop in chicago, you are a slave to the protected class of dark skinned humans in that city.

There are plenty of Black women Democrats in jail. Far more than any other race. They commit more crimes than anyone else.

“I don’t expect that person to be much different.”

Hopefully they will not be the spawn of Communist terrorists, that alone will be an improvement.

What passes for “moderate” in San Francisco (the candidate that lost to Boudin) is a disciple of the Communist Whore Vice-Puppet, who herself broke records as the worst District Attorney in America (and later, worst Attorney General).

Their end goal, of course, is a complete breakdown in civil society and then to implement their complete totalitarian Stalinazi state in its place to override our Constitution. Boudin was just paving the way for the former so he could achieve the latter. Soft on crime now, ruthless mass murderer later.

Dan Lipinksi is thinking of running for IL-6 as an Indie. Do you think that would help or hurt our chances?

BTW, I could have sworn that Bill Lipinski was his UNCLE not his father which apparently he is. Mandela effect?

Depends on how much appeal Lipinski has there. If he raises enough money to appeal to Dems, it might help the GOP. Frankly, after being jettisoned over abortion, he might be better off switching parties and moving rightward.

He says in the farticle he wrote about “both sides bad” that the GOP asked him to run and he said no.

Well, both parties in IL are bad and corrupt (and in bed together). They should poll the district and see what kind of effect his candidacy has.

He wasn’t talking about the state parties and he was whining about how both sides are “extreme” (he’s half right) and bemoaned that only 13 RINOS voted for Biden’s pork bill and that Mary Miller beat his pal (I guess) Rodney Davis.

https://www.chicagotribune.com/opinion/commentary/ct-opinion-independent-candidate-congress-partisanship-lipinski-20220630-3fkccqhnqncclls4my7iagi2cq-story.html

He’s a “centrist”, the only positive sign in the article is that he used the term woke in a negative fashion.

Frankly he sounds like all the RINO pigs out there.

I remember very well when Bill Lipinski announced after the filing deadline that he would retire, and then (in his capacity as alderman or ward leader something like that of a ward within his CD) insisted that his son Dan, who was a political-science professor at the University of Tennessee, be the substitute Democrat nominee. When some of the other ward leaders stated that there were some other candidates in the district who had been waiting their turn to run, Bill replied “you don’t understand; if you don’t select Dan as the replacement nominee, I’ll withdraw my retirement.” Bill Lipinski made damn sure that his son inherited his seat.

I did see on Twitter that people were saying that Bill was Dan’s uncle, not father, so obviously you’re not the only one who has that mistaken memory. The Mandela Effect indeed. (For the record, I never thought that Mandela had died in prison and have no idea why people swear that they remember hearing that, but I certainly do remember a movie poster or something for a movie in which Sinbad played a genie, and I was shocked to learn that there never was any such movie. The only explanation is that someone has been fooling with the Matrix.)

As for whom a Dan Lipinski indie run would hurt the most, I would think that it would be the GOP nominee, Mayor Keith Pekau. Pro-abortion but otherwise moderate Democrats would have no qualms about voting for Sean Casten instead of Dan Lipinski, and those pro-life Democrats that Lipinski would nab are exactly the voters that Pekau would need to defeat Casten, and Lipinski also would take some independent votes from Pekau. Had moonbat Marie Newman won the RAT nomination, there would have been a reasonable chance that Lipinski would take a lot of moderate Democrat votes away from her (and some from Pekau), making it a competitive three-way race, but I don’t see a path to victory for Pekau against Casten if Lipinski is there as an escape valve for pro-life Democrats. A one-on-one race between Pekau and Casten, however, would be potentially winnable for Pekau due to the toxic electoral environment for Democrats and the likely support for Pekau from Lipinski Democrats.

” if you don’t select Dan as the replacement nominee, I’ll withdraw my retirement.””

I didn’t know that. That’s why should have to actually be a vacancy first (Bill Lipinski, irrevocably withdrawing from the ballot).

” Sinbad played a genie,”

Hmm yes, Shaq was the star of “Kazaam”.

Human memory is stupid so if we discount the possibility that we are shifting between different quantum universes (....) then there must be a reason why so many people think Mandela died in prison ( he should have gotten the death penalty, along with his wife, for being terrorists and murderers) but I’ll be damned if I know what it is, conflating it with something else? A false news report?

For me and Lipinski I think I must have heard at the time, falsely, that it was the nephew, and just never checked.

A big Mandela for me (and many others) is I could have sworn that in “Moonraker” Jaw’s little girlfriend had braces and they even had a kissing scene where they stuck together. There are conspiracies about altered footage.

But I guess the sole crux of the humor was just the size disparity between them (missed opportunity).

And there is commercial with Richard Kiel and and a blonde with braces!! I guess people get it from that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BhLAWP7jGA&t=36s&ab_channel=konnu

The “braces sticking together” must be conflated from some other movie or show.
