What’s more is K&E likely represent some criminal organizations or individuals, but those are AOK.

Someone needs to inform these people it’s just bad form to earn the ZOT before we’ve had the chance to play a bit.
Oh woe is me. :-\

I had been banned from freerepublic 18 times for expressing different opinion that pissed off mods.

Well, that’s a whole round of golf. Looks like you made it to the 19th hole. 🍻 Congratulations!

Bye now!

Registered voters in DC vote 90% Democrat. The deep state is like a huge, smothering layer of belly fat all over the region.

Kirkland and Ellis was the home of Brett Kavanaugh and William Barr. Hmm.

Makes sense. New York and Washington are “Constitution-Free Zones” these days.

Paul Clement is a great lawyer. I’m confident he got a huge payoff to leave the firm. When you factor in how much money he demanded to leave, he was probably very happy to accept the deal.

He was a partner and his clients will follow him to his new firm.

I actually worked on a 1998 assignment from a staffing firm doing data entry work for a case the Kirkland & Ellis took on regarding AOL Online Games. The place was quite elegant, taking up the top two floors of a large building near the White House. Ken Starr — yes, THAT Ken Starr — even had an office there.

I supposed Mr. Starr would be persona non grata there nowadays.

Kirkland & Ellis: yet another wing of the Democrat Party.

Is there a way somebody could complain to the bar committee about the lawyers who forced these legal minds out of the firm?

I agree. Is there a way to petition for disbarment of K & E’s legal team?

Whoever the lawyers are who defend the 2nd A probably and SHOULD MAKE A LOT OF MONEY.

I have a feeling those lawyers are going to see a lot of work to defend the 2nd...and THEY DESERVE IT.
