My current laptop cost around $4,500. Maybe a bit more. I've been using it for six and a half years now.
I like laptops with pointers in the keyboard. I don't like touchpads or mice. That limits my options.

But, if you want expensive, Sager certainly can go higher. Their most expensive one is $2700 base model, but you can definitely add stuff and probably get it to $4500 if you want!
For the nub, you’d have to ask as I don’t think Sager offers it, but for $4500 they might be willing to figure it out. Lenovo, maybe Dell or Toshiba, but I don’t think they usually have it on their fanciest stuff. Like you said, it’s not a very common feature anymore.
