Then someone explained it to me. It's not about jobs, or economics. It's about power.
Priorities, priorities!
This is the same reason democrats hate oil and gas companies. It is the largest non-union industry and its employees do extremely well, but no union bosses get to live off their dues and no contributions go the democrat machine. Add to that the climate change scam and oil and gas will always be the political whipping boy, even though you can’t run an economy without it.
They want dependent people, and want to kill or enslave independent people.
If they can't control it, they want it gone.
I like Musk, he reminds me, of, well - me.
Tesla finally figured out who the Democrats are.
They do, they have this delusion that EVs should only cost 5K and be available for everyone. Only way to do that is to build everything in China and kill all American jobs.
An African American who calls it as he sees it...
Though Tesla stock is way overpriced, and though I will never buy a Tesla (or any other EV), I still support Musk against any and all democrats and democrat policies.
Mostly mediocre employees need Unions. If the workers at Tesla are happy leave them be. Good companies provide all sorts of benefits above and beyond that of the Unions. Unions have always reminded me of pyramid scams. If the Big 3 are so great, why are most of the people driving Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hundai, Nissan, etc. which I tend to believe are also non union. Why should companies be forced to hire mediocre employees? What next, another Biden Decree?
Mobsters have to get their skim... I mean union dues.
Having worked my share of union jobs over the years, I have to agree with a comment that has been made on here in the past, that these days, unions are mostly for thugs and slugs.
Unions are bad, true, but it is also true that they are almost dead. Only 7% of the US workforce is in a union.
Peterbilt located in Texas is non-union. I spent 33 years there. The managers could be a pain in the butt. However you could talk to any of them about any issue. Sometimes they would agree and sometimes they wouldn’t but you usually got an answer even if it took awhile. Pay and benefits were great. Retired out of there taking home more than working 40.
