A Washington law firm has filed a federal lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for interfering with the use of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

The lawsuit was filed by Boyden Gray & Associates on behalf of three doctors who were disciplined for prescribing human-grade ivermectin to patients.
The firm’s founder, attorney Boyden Gray, is a former legal adviser to the Reagan and Bush administrations.
Gray told The Epoch Times that the FDA had violated well-established law that allows doctors to prescribe an FDA-approved drug as an off-label treatment.
Ivermectin was no different, he said. It was approved by the FDA in 1966.
“Congress recognized the importance of letting doctors be doctors and expressly prohibited the FDA from interfering with the practice of medicine,” Gray said.
“That is exactly what the FDA has done time and time again throughout this pandemic, assuming authority it doesn’t have and trying to insert itself in the medical decisions of Americans everywhere.”
The three plaintiffs in the case are Dr. Paul Marik of Virginia, Dr. Mary Bowden of Texas, and Dr. Robert Apter of Arizona.
Marik is a founder of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care 21 Alliance (FLCCC), a national nonprofit that promotes alternative COVID-19 treatments to the government-touted vaccine.
“The FDA has made public statements on ivermectin that have been misleading and have raised unwarranted concern over a critical drug in preventing and treating COVID-19,” Marik told The Epoch Times. “To do this is to ignore both statutory limits on the FDA’s authority and the significant body of scientific evidence from peer-reviewed research.”
According to Marik, more than 80 medical trials conducted since the outbreak of COVID-19 show that ivermectin is a safe and effective treatment for the virus.
Gray said the FDA has engaged in unlawful interference with the use of ivermectin and should be held accountable for that.
The lawsuit included several statements made by the FDA that Gray said show that the administration interfered with the use of ivermectin.
They include an Aug. 21, 2021, Twitter post by the agency: “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
The post, with an image of a horse and a doctor, has a headline that reads, “Why you should not use ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19.”
Marik, Bowden, and Apter are among a number of U.S. doctors across the United States who have been disciplined for prescribing ivermectin.
Marik, a critical care specialist, was suspended by Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for prescribing ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment. Bowden, an ear, nose, and throat specialist, was suspended from the Houston Medical Hospital. Apter was under investigation by both the Washington Medical Commission and Arizona Medical Board for prescribing ivermectin.
Marik was recently informed that he was under investigation by the medical licensing board in Virginia.
Gray filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Texas.
The doctors are seeking a permanent injunction that would prohibit the FDA from interfering with the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19.
True!

We’ve seemed to lose our better nature at the expense of insights.
I’m being selfish by asking for cooperation. I want information. I don’t care if it’s fantasy or fact. The volume of data will eventually sort itself out.
BTW, in gas’ defense, he’s previously provided details about the advantages and availability of monoclonals — an alternative to the vax. That’s a good thing.
I don't enjoy blood sport. It's not fun. IRL I avoid conflict, seeking diplomatic resolution whenever possible. But this medical 'Covid protocol' and 'Fauci-approved' information weaponry is horrific as are those who knowingly promote it.
Gas_dr told FReeper Terart to go to the hospital even after she told him she called the hospital in advance and confirmed no treatment would be given. He begged her to listen to him, citing his medical 'credentials', as did another fake FR doctor. Terart needed more meds that could not be obtained by prescription due to CDC restrictions, and which Gas_dr told her to avoid even if she could them by claiming they don't work. Gas told her to get monoclonals and she tracked them down, only to be turned away when she got there because her blood ox was too low. Again he told her to go the hospital 'and let them treat you', knowing meds would not be given and she would not be treated. She was put on oxygen in the hospital and died without ever receiving actual treatment she needed, according to her daughter.
Terart needed at the very least, a longer course and or larger dose(s) of the Ivermectin. She may have needed some of the add-ons that Dr. McCullough and Dr. Zelenko prescribe to counter the more complex cases. None of that is available in any CDC compliant hospital due to CDC regulations. Many have reported success with additions of simple intravenous add-ons like C, D3, or following Ivermectin with HCQ and AZ. Hearing Terart explain how long she had been ill, Gas_dr was incapable of supposing her blood ox would be too low at this point so he urged her to get those monoclonals anyway, and that's what she expended her last energy doing - obtaining a treatment that would be denied her. Meanwhile he repeated his credentials and urgently warned her her not to trust any alternatives or other opinions.
Here's Zelenkos High-risk protocol:
Although Zelenko and McCullough have made these protocols available for quite some time, supposed 'medical expert' gas_dr can only parrot Fauci and knows nothing about supportive care in use and saving lives outside the hospital setting. Isn't that odd for a supposed 'healer'? Here's McCulloughs protocol. Note the alternatives offered:
So why aren't FR's 'medical experts' aware of anything out of the CDC recommendations? Zelenko and McCullough report approx 85% success rate for their protocols for 'high risk' and the CDC DOESN'T. Basic logic and science expose FR's fake Faucist 'doctors' as, in the best case scenario, frauds.
Gas_dr lied repeatedly, stating medical outcomes of Ivermectin at 'his hospital' supported nowhere else in the world outside the Plandemic talking points. He insisted ALL who tried ivermectin suffered and it didn't work. He lied. Think about how that impacted people. It's unethical for him to wave medical credentials which he can't prove he has, and will not be impacted for his 'advice' even if it's lethal. At the very least, he would be a 'doctor' who is incompetent in evaluating medications and patient outcomes.
What Gas says is not true. What impact does lying about treatments to people at risk of dying? He toed the Fauci line and Fauci is our modern day Mengele.
I don't give gas any credit. He's one of the fake medical 'experts' who lures people to get vaxxed or go to hospitals with lethal CDC 'Covid Protocols' which employ organ killer Remdesivir instead of 'risking' Ivermectin and HCQ, even though their safety records blow Remdesivir out of the water, and have done so for decades. You don't even need a prescription for Ivermectin in Japan and it's been used safely for decades. What medical 'expert' would insist you avoid a safe treatment alternative?
Have you been following the devastating effects of the 'vaccine'? He hasn't and he's still denying the obvious problems with it.
He's responsible for harm, in my opinion. And I believe he has always know that, and ruthlessly perseveres.

>> Gas_dr told FReeper Terart to go to the hospital
I thought it was Mom MD that had the exchange with terart.
I recall the Cult of Medicine (at the hospital) denying her numerous requests due to “mandatory FDA/CDC protocols”. Terart’s final posting was heartbreaking.
BTW the hostile insults I’m protesting were directed at you.
Regarding the flow of information, there’s value even in the opposing views. I have no interest in promoting FRiendships, but shutting/shouting down unwelcome views/opinions through hostility & insults is counterproductive.
Despite my strong objections to vaxxholes and the Cult of Medicine, I’m not interested in proving they’re wrong. I’m only interested in the facts and the means to disseminate those facts.

Here's the very disturbing thread where a vulnerable, sick FReeper fought hard to get help for herself and her son.
Here's Gassy:
"Regarding the flow of information, there’s value even in the opposing views."
These weren't opposing views - these were sound byte style posts not supported by the facts. There was no harm in her taking Ivermectin, there never has been. There were lies saying it was responsible for poisoning. One poisoning center lied and the only medical research I could find was a dog poisoned with excessive levels of Ivermectin. If I can discover that the medication available for decades, declared safe and used worldwide with great success is better than nothing, why did these supposed 'medical professions' insist she should ignore it? That's just one hole in the CDC's advice - it's safe so why not try it as it saves so many people?
"Despite my strong objections to vaxxholes and the Cult of Medicine, I’m not interested in proving they’re wrong."Why not? Gas_dr and MomMD used their credentials, with the help of their groupies, to influence life-and-death medical decisions while at the same time the fake MD's protected their supposed medical 'credentials' from the impacts of their awful medical advice. Just how unethical can they be before people like me object vigorously?
The vaxxholes are still actively lying to deceive people into getting toxic shots at the same time some are insisting we let it drop, "it's over" and we should move on. Why? If it's over, why are they still lying and shilling?
Although I’m in your camp regarding McCullough, I don’t believe gas_dr or Mom MD had malicious intentions.
Wasn’t Trump administered a treatment that involved Regeneron?
Appreciate the references and your summary. I now have a better understanding of the animosity.
Regarding the free flow of opposing information, it’s often a necessary inconvenience that ultimately yields better answers.
Gassy is a propagandist.
She still denies that the JnJ adenovirus vector jab was gene therapy.
She either wrongly believes that or she lies to promote the vax.
“The FDA and State Medical Boards have no legal or regulatory relationship.”
Do they need one? I think the FDA can be quite effective in their destruction just by their pronouncements.
I did not realize that Terart had passed away. I remember some of those exchanges. So the treatment delay instigated by a FRoctor killed one of our members?
My question, is there anything that can be done to discipline a MD who has offered a DX and/or made treatment recommendations to a patient that he/she has not seen?
“let them treat you”...what a freaking joke. I’ve heard the lowdown from 2 ppl whose family member died in hospital. They were murdered just like Terart, but no one was prosecuted. The comments from attending physicians at major hospitals are just astounding.
“Although I’m in your camp regarding McCullough, I don’t believe gas_dr or Mom MD had malicious intentions.”
Arrogance and pride and stubborness. They routinely ridicule MDs who offer actual effective treatment plans.
The FDA obviously did those things, and this is filed in the souther district of Texas, so the appeal will go to the 5th circuit, so there might be a slight chance that the courts will somehow limit the FDA to its actual authority. I'm skeptical, but at least someone is trying to push back.
