We have become accustomed to seeing newsprint that appears never to have passed the desk of an editor.
When I see these kinds of things, I can easily understand someone who writes it and completely doesn’t see the obvious stupidity in the wording of a title or a passage, but...an editor missing it?
I mean, hey...the author might have his or her head so buried in the content, and have a brain cramp with the title, but this mistake being made by an Editor who’s job it is to evaluate work for errors?
What does that say about him or her?
That was a humorously badly written headline, more so because it makes the reality/satire come to life.
That said, we are the beneficiaries, but...it is sad to see that is apparently where we are. I would enjoy calling these people inept bunglers except that they are so full of malice towards America and American values on the whole.
