I was at the local Walgreens today. They had a half-dozen cans of a couple of different kinds.
I had a friend get me some for my grandson, he lives in Michigan and happened to be walking buy the shelves at Meijer’s and asked what kind he needed, and as a miracle they had 2 cans.
My poor little guy has been on like 7 different formulas before they found one he tolerates, Enfamil AR. There is NOTHING to be found here in central Indiana. I had him run over to another store the next town over and they had 2 there as well.
I can’t describe the stress my daughter was going through trying to make sure she could feed him, and she’s a NICU nurse and even THEY are struggling to get all they need for the kids in her ward.
My daughter and I went to get food at Kroger last night. I showed her the empty baby food aisle and said “You better be glad you were born when you were”.
She asked why there was no baby food. I told her it’s because of our government.
