All the variables involved in weather are not static. It’s a system constantly in flux and so is virtually impossible to predict long term because nobody knows exactly what direction things will go in next.

If the system was linear, small errors would continue to remain small. In a non-linear system, small errors can propagate into larger errors. It is the essence behind chaos theory.

Might not be a bad idea to start your prepping NOW. After all, the North Atlantic Hurricane Season officially started yesterday.
The time to stock up is when most other people are not even thinking hurricanes, so there are still supplies available.
I’ve got some already. Still gotta shoot for a decent first aid kit. Also have impact windows on order.
