Well, this certainly reminds me of the Clinton's Filegate scandal that broke in 1996, where the Clinton White House was found to be in possession of hundreds of FBI files, and nobody could explain under oath, who had hired Craig Livingstone to go through all of them. Let's not mention that a large majority of those files were of Republicans, and Clinton political enemies. Now I see that the Clintons have cut out the middle man, and instead of having to get physical records from the FBI, they just set themselves up an office for the FBI at the law firm that represents them, so they can have 24/7 access to the FBI's database any time they want.

I called Matt Gaetz's office today, and left a message reminding him of Filegate, and that he should mention it every time he speaks publicly about the FBI and Perkins Coie, because the two are connected.

Here’s a positive spin that will draw a lot of derision here. The whistleblower may have been found out or decided to come clean some time ago, maybe as a result of heat applied by Durham on Sussman and associates ( Sussman was the guy running the worksite, according to CTH). But the news breaks on the day Sussman acquitted, when more eyes are on the case than at any prior point as the Dems do their victory lap. Doesn’t this drive right into the gap an honest Durham, if he is, can exploit?
