Stuart Varney was not “lecturing” Trump on the point.
Yes he brought it up - some in the GOP want Trump to look forward, not back, give emphasis and focus on what we need to do now and not concentrate on 2020 election issues.
Yes, there is some sentiment among some in the GOP and not all of that sentiment is with “never Trumpers”.
Varney was not trying to convince Trump that that sentiment was “correct”, only that it was out there and the party has to deal with it.
If Varney seemed to repeat himself (I heard the whole exchange) it was that he did not think Trump was going directly to Varney’s question - the sentiment being out there is a fact, and (a) what did Trump think of it and (b)how did Trump think that he Trump ought to address it.
It was a polite exchange and Trump repeated his opinion that moving forward required admitting and understanding the past, not ignoring the past.
And that pretty much ended it. Varney got his question out and Trump gave his answer.
But some folks need web page clicks and are making too much of it.

I agree it is impossible to prove President Trump won in 2020. The audit trail was erased - we can never recreate what the results should have been. The only way President Trump will ever get back into the White House is if he wins again in 2024.
However, it IS possible to prove the election was stolen, and vital that we do so.
Remember, it takes far, far less evidence to prove a crime took place, than it does to catch the perp and get a conviction.
A good analogy is a devastating home invasion and robbery - you lose all your possessions, they wipe out your bank accounts, your wife and daughters are violated - and the police have no leads at all.
Two years later, if well-meaning friends, family and therapists are urging you to move on, stop obsessing over the past, try to be forward looking - that may be very good advice.
But would they ever ask that you deny it even happened? Of course not!
But that is exactly what the Left and the RINOs are demanding President Trump do: deny the election was stolen - “admit” he is lying when he says it was. That’s what they are demanding all MAGA patriots do.

The RINO’s do not want the election questioned ever, even the man who was screwed over shall be silent. Questioning the election might offend their good friends across the aisle and the GOP is famous for playing by Marquis of Queensbury rules while the Democrats use brass knucks and fight like animals to win. Varney is a Bush, yeah you know you got screwed over but you have accept it and lose with grace GOP hack.
