The problem is that they’re the ones who won’t let it go. The left…which appears to be most of the population now…simply never takes a break from their obsession.
I don’t know how the man in the dry cleaners knew that the author was a Republican. Perhaps she’s locally well known or something. But in any case, I have seen exactly the same thing happen, an attack by a stranger on someone suspected of not following the narrative.
The other thing that is common is that the leftists just assume that everyone thinks the way they do - especially if you’re in certain fields - and keeps up a steady stream of raving about political matters.
And they do this anywhere. I like to hike, for example, but I simply don’t go on group hikes because they can’t shut up about their politics…even though it’s bad form to talk much while you’re walking. They don’t care. They’re obsessed, which I attribute mostly to the 24-7 left wing howling of the media.
Same thing with the shots. It’s weird. People letting everyone know how they got their boosters or shots. It reminds me of the hoola hoop or pet rock craze.
Exactly so. As Winston Churchill famously quipped, "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject." A large number of our population have been brainwashed over years of agitprop. Today they are legion. Qui bono?
