It works in the movies.

Along similar lines:

Alan Greenspan said we can basically print all the money we want so the deficit isn’t a problem. Then he reversed himself. He was for it before he was against it.

Electric cars are a method of control. They hate that you can get cheap gas, fill up in a couple of minutes, and be off 300, 400+ miles in any direction thereafter.

With electric cars they can ensure that you have to wait a while to “refill,” you’ll take a route where charging stations are available, and you’re pinned to a relatively low number of miles.

But dagnabbit, you’re saving the environment!
