The Libs shut down pipelines and deny new drilling and then blame the oil companies when gas prices go through the roof!

YES, I'm pi$$ed!

The problem is that conservatives don’t MAINTAIN their anger to follow through. Trump was elected in 2016 but leftists seized Congress by wide margins in 2018 due to a flagging interest in the midterms by conservatives. That is not a sustainable strategy it if continues.

Everyday I grow more enraged not less enraged at the 2020 overthrow of the US govt. I want it fixed. Now!

I think that after two years of a majority House and Senate, Pal Ryan ad Mitch McConnell, conservative voters correctly observed that electing Republicans was akin to electing assistant Democrats, that kinda takes the air out of the enthusiasm to get to the polls.

Sure we do, but we're not dumb enough to broadcast our feelings across the social expanse to be put on a (anymore) list(s). Adults know how to redirect their anger and work through it. It's the unstable children on the left who are demonstrably incapable of personal restraint and go shooting up grocery stores and churches.

Most of the conservatives I know feel helpless. We're incapable of doing anything to fix the current dumpster fire that is DC.

I was standing in the check-out line at the grocery store 3-4 weeks ago and someone in line complained about the prices. I said blame Biden. I shouldn't have...an old guy started ranting (about Biden/Democrats) he carried on so long that I made it through check-out and he was still ranting, red faced...I thought maybe a heart attack...I politely excused myself and left. Boy O Boy.

I don’t know. There’s a lot of stupid people out there. I know more Republicans showed up for the primaries, but my goodness, in PA, 1.3 million Dems showed their support for high gas, empty shelves, high crimes and high inflation in the Dem primaries.

Your mistake was not getting right back in the lefty's face and meekly walking away. It is time to fight, not cower.

Agree. The GOP doesn’t perform or produce in a way that does much to motivate people to vote for them. They are big on talk but small on results (or even effort).

“To my mind, it is more likely that we see massive new populism.”

Closing our own borders would improve things a lot. Kicking out illegals would improve things a lot. Cancelling EVERY EO that dumb@ss, FAKE ‘president’ has signed would help a lot!

I really miss President Trump. I’m STILL not over ‘The Reagan Years,’ either. I lived through the Carter Years. I managed a multi-million dollar business during the ‘Reign of Error’ that was 0bama and the nightmare that 0bamacare caused for employers and employees alike!

Kinda sad. I’ll be 62 this year; have been politically active since I was a teenager and I’ve had exactly TWO good Presidents in my lifetime. This is America! Shouldn’t I have had a few more through the years?

These days feel like a death or a divorce to me. We just need to hunker down and muddle through it.

Of course, I’m never COMPLETELY without hope, and continue to work at my State level to right this listing ship. Please do the same in your state. :)

(an old guy started)

Did he approve of the job they’re doing or did he actually have a functioning brain and was frustrated?

I’m with you-I’m also 62 and it’s sad that the only 2 great Presidents we’ve had the “Republican Party leaders” didn’t like them because they were outside of DC circles.

May the MAGA wave overtake the stupid republican party and throw out the assistant democrats!

......................................
That is exactly why following 1/6 countless Trump voters, myself included, begged him to leave the GOP and establish a TRUE second political party for his 80+ million supporters. He refused to do so and now we can all watch in horror as the GOP joins forces with the ‘rats to ensure his defeat in 2024.

I’d have asked him, “Is the price of bread racist?”

He’d then stop and try to figure that out, while you next ask, “Is bread itself racist? Is flour itself racist — especially white flour? Don’t buy bread, it’s racist!”

Peppering belligerent people with illogical questions and statements stops them in their tracks.
