I believe many on the left - AND ALLEGED CONSERVATIVES - feel the same way about Trump. Lacking a time machine, the 2020-equivalent question was "would you steal the election by whatever means, to remove Trump from office? Because, ya know, he's Hitler."
This is the unspoken but likely truth about 2020...I bet most Bidet supporters (and fakers like Fox) sure as heck see lots of problems and believe that the election was fraudulent, and it is very likely that Trump won by a mile. But, because Orange Man Bad, these Guardians of Civilization grip onto whatever half-baked rationale for the results to keep the inquiry into irregularities stopped, and feel morally justified in stealing the election.
I get a Mel Giibson vibe from Dinesh (i.e. good heart but personal baggage), so I am not all-in on him. That said, if the man's movie raises legitimate questions, they should be addressed.
But they won't be addressed, because 2020 was a de facto going back in time to kill Hitler. And this new dogma that "anything goes if we are morally justified" is being played out with overturning Roe. Indeed, it is an extension of this article:
