At one time, the US would stand for peace and trying diplomacy between nations in order to avoid war.
There has been ZERO effort by the US to find a peaceful solution in Ukraine.
We are not the good guys.
Zero effort? The sick US deep-state and its neocon ideologues made sure the war happened, and are now trying to inflame it.
Mark my words - so complete is their control of government, our institutions and the media, The USA will need to undergo its own kind of "de-nazification" to remove the influence of these people.
Understood.
But patently the USA admin wants war, not peace.
Just as it does in the Mideast and Far East.
It’s a war- mongering program through and through.
Ps: I’m not a pacifist. There are some legitimate fights. Defending USA. Helping genuine Allies defend themselves.
I’m fine for some fights and this is why we have our great military forces.
I’m not for USA goading or provoking other countries into wars. I’m not for arming and financing terrorist murder gangs like PLO, Hezballah, and the Afghani guerrillas or Mexican drug gangs.
We need to get some control over the traitors who drag America into such evil ventures.
There has been ZERO effort by the US to find a peaceful solution in Ukraine.
The 'peaceful solution' here was giving Putin, what he wanted..
1.) Partition of Ukraine (Donbas region becoming an independent state, that uses the Russian Federation currency and would largely be controlled by Russia as a puppet)
2.) Recognition of Crimea being territory of the RF
3.) Russian reinstated as the national language of Ukraine
4.) Ukraine becoming a 'non-aligned' state (no EU or NATO).
5.) NATO pulling back to pre-Soviet breakup.
1.) This was not going to happen, the West will not accept a 1938 Czechoslovakia redux. Most of the Ukrainian defenses built over the last 8 years, are in the Donbas region and would leave the country open to a full blitz like attack akin to what later followed the 'Anschluss of Czechoslovakia' as their defenses were concentrated in the region ceded to Germany.
2.) The West would accept Russian annexation of Crimea regardless of accords made with Ukraine as annexation of territory under threat of force or use of force is against the UN Charter, which all member states are held in accordance.
3.) This is a decision that falls under the sovereignty of Ukraine, and not something the US or the West can force upon that country.
4.) Again, this is a decision that falls under the sovereignty of Ukraine. NATO and the EU will 'accept' applications to join, if they no longer wish to join either group then they can 'withdraw' their application.
5.) NATO is not going to dump to the curb any Nation due to another nation not wanting them to be a member of NATO as it is a defensive alliance, and only once in the history of NATO has the alliance been called together under Article 5 (9/11).
This was the 'peaceful solution'.
Talks were still ongoing when Russia began their invasion, at which point they ended. If Russia wishes 'further talks', they can return to where they began.
On that note, sanctions are not going away until either a settlement is made after Russia withdraws and returns Ukrainian territory in full.
There isn’t much we can do. Russia has unreasonable demands, and by invading they’ve proven their demands are unreasonable. When 1 side demands the other be defenseless, and then invades, 3rd parties can’t do anything. Russia needs to go home, stop being stupid, and accept the fact that at no time has Ukraine actually wanted to be a part of them, then move on.
There has been ZERO effort by the US to find a peaceful solution in Ukraine.

Pootie Toot is not interested in ‘peace’. Not until the objectives which are in dispute inside Orc Land are defined and achieved.
There are no ‘peaceful’ solutions at the moment. Besides, such a thing would be counter to destroying the USA.
