There used to be a pig who had a law degree from some cruddy school, called himself a “pastor” and who would have a small group picket outside funerals for soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan with anti-gay signs - the dead soldier had nothing to do with the issue but they saw it as a good way to get attention. They were as obnoxious as you could get, and their aim was to sue and get money from a lawsuit when they were restricted in their 1st Amendment “rights” - they actually sued the family of one Marine, got $ 10,000 which was paid by Bill O’Reilly as long as he didn’t have to have any physical contact with the money or the scum. Finally, several states legislated that yes, they could picket but they would have to be one thousand feet away. It stopped most of this outrage.
