No amount of Western money or arms can help Ukraine

No quantity of western money or arms can help Ukraine

The US congress with but 10 dissenting voices in the house and none in the senate, has voted $33B to "help" Ukraine. Kind of like a little Dutch kid sticking his finger in the ocean to try to stop Noah's flood...

Here is some context and background to what’s going on in Ukraine. As for how America is suffering...we are suffering mostly because of policies the Democrats have put in place. Not because of giving money or weapons to Ukraine. We would have expensive gas without any war or war assistance to Ukraine because the environazis want us to suffer. As to the money to Ukraine, as Peter Zeihan points out if we don’t fight Russia in Ukraine, we will be fighting them in NATO countries. Peter explains why this is so. It doesn’t matter if we think Putin’s reasoning is idiotic. He believes it so we have to deal with that reality.

This is perhaps the worst possible spin to put on the aid used to address the crisis in the Ukraine. The Ukrainians themselves are bearing the brunt of the actual conflict, because for them the fight is existential. They fail, they either die or find themselves once more the unwilling subjects of the Russian hegemony. Even obsolete weaponry, in sufficient quantity, is enough to force the Russians from their land, as happened to the Soviets in Afghanistan.

The Ukrainians are not going to move to occupy Moscow, or even neighboring Belarus, should they finally succeed in driving Russians back to the borders of before February 24, 2022. They may never get the regions of Donbas or the Crimea back, that is to be adjudicated at a later time.

All this bad calculus on the part of Putin is going to leave an economic burden on the Russian Federation that may well send them the way of the former Soviet Union, which went broke trying to keep up with failures in their military forays and logistics.

Saker has proven to be very good at being completely wrong in his analysis of the war so far. Here is what he said on February 24th:

"I think that by tomorrow evening the operational envelopment of the Ukie forces in the eastern Ukraine will be completed. After that, only two types of Ukie soldiers will be left: those who surrendered and the dead."

That still hasn't happened, and it is now May 1st. Saker's analysis was completely wrong.

Also on February 24th:

"The first strike phase of the operation has been extremely successful and the Ukrainian ground forces are now not only without any kind of cover or support (the Ukie Air Force and Navy passed away today), they are also without orders: not only has the Ukronazi HQ in the Donbass been totally destroyed, the Russians are, no doubt, putting down their EW blanket on the full area of operations."

But here we are in May and the Russians have not achieved air superiority, they have lost the flagship of their Navy in the area, and they are having more problems communicating than their Ukrainian counterparts. Again, Saker is 100% wrong. Here is what he said on February 28th:

"Fifth, the Ukie military was 80% defeated on Day 1. Get that? It was gone as a coherent fighting force. THAT is why they are blowing up bridges, distributing weapons and releasing convicted criminals. NOT because they are winning! I mean – how stupid are you if you believe that? Ukie stupid?"

I suspect that the Russians killed on days 2 through 66 of this war disagree.

Saker seems to be yet another blog author who says whatever will drive clicks to his advertisers. As a source of facts or analysis he is useless.

The Uniparty is infected with, “I support the latest thing!” disease. It lowers IQ by 50 points. And apparently FR has been infected, too.

***Yup. Appeasement didn’t work in Sudetenland 1938 and doesn’t work now.

***The Ukes are aiming for the borders that the Rukes signed a sovereignty & border agreement on, in 1994. And rightfully so.

“a year from now the headlines will read, “Where did all the money for Ukraine go?”

Ths US military has already said there is no way to track the hardware we sent to Ukraine. They have no idea how much has been turned around and sold to China, Iran, etc.

Hint: Ukraine is one of the poorest, and most corrupt countries in Europe. I’ll bet at least 30% was resold immediately. Watch for all the sudden Ukrainian millionaires. They’ll give themselves away on tic tok.

Yeah, how’d that work out in Afghanistan? Oh yeah. Didn’t change anda!n thing, other tham another trillion down the drain, $100,000,000 in US primo hardware handed to the Taliban, and thousands of our youngsters hopping around on one leg for the rest of their lives.

*spit*

They don’t care about the efficacy because the money is going to end up in Dem Politicians accounts and their causes.

Remember, the Dem IT companies in the Russia Coup that wouldn’t share the actual data, only analysis?

If a company is lined with the right people it’s easy to steer money.

This money will enrich the Dem Powerful.

I hear Biden is going to AL tomorrow to see the weapons being made by Lockheed-Martin that are to be sent to Ukraine. Do you suppose the company will let him try them out? What a photo-op, Joe. Go for it!! Would make a great 2024 campaign ad!!!

This is just...so bad. The idea that the weapons being provided "can't help" Ukraine is a complete joke to anyone with a smidge of military knowledge.

But keep pumping it out. Nice to be able to identify both the witting and unwitting pawns of Russia and the CCP.

With respect, it certainly seemed effective when practiced by the Reds in Korea and Vietnam—and we all know how that turned out.

Of course supplying weapons can be extremely effective as long as those receiving them are willing to fight - which the Ukrainians clearly are.
