House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Rep. James Comer (R-KY) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning.
During the discussion Maria asked Rep. Comer if Republicans will impeach Joe Biden if they take power.
Kevin McCarthy already announced impeachment is not on the table. Rep. Comer echoed the weak GOP leader. They don’t want to talk impeachment.

An article 25 removal would be much easier to accomplish and would be less damaging to the country.
BiXiden Impeachment should be just a minor sideshow.
Important to do, but Congress is large enough body to run all sorts of simultaneous operations, large and small, to MAGA.
An impeachment trial would only strengthen Biden. The Dems would rally around him. That’s exactly what happened with Clinton. Impeaching him is a stupid idea if you want to get rid of him.
If it turns out to be a shock wave of RINO defeats in the primaries this year, then this would make RINOs facing primaries in 2024 shake in their boots and they would have to go along with impeachment because they will be in the firing line election-wise if they don't.
But potentially more dangerous in the long run, because the requirements are very nebulous. Anything that is done under Amendment 25 will be setting a precedent. A precedent that could easily be turned against us by the “ever-creative-when-it-comes-to-interpreting-law-and-precedent” lawfaring Rat party!
Is Comer up for reelection this year or in 24?
Pursue article 25 and impeachment at the same time. And no, impeachment of an anti American crooked president is not damaging to our country.
Clinton said Impeachment was a badge of honor. Remember though....Clinton did lie and get fined besides what he did to the lady with the blue dress.

I agree, does Biden deserve impeachment, absolutely, but doing so will only take away from exposing him and the rest of the Democratic party.
IMO, he’s worth more to the MAGA movement being in office versus being made out to be a martyr by the media and dragging everyone thru and impeachment trial that will never succeed.
Slo-Joe is the best campaign issue Republicans could ever ask for.

I see his point! If you can’t do removal with a conviction in the Senate, why talk about it?
Remember impeachment is just a formal charge, you only remove via a trial and conviction in the Senate. That’s not going to happen! Where are those 2\3’rds vote to convict going to come from?
Anyway, thanks to the Rats abuse of it they have turned impeachment into effectively a note home to your mother!

I thought the question by Maria them was about doing impeachment after they officially take back the Senate in January of 23.
