...is just an assertion, an insane one at that. The left has gone so batsh*t crazy far left that any ARGUMENT with them is being INTERPRETED as “the right has become extreme”. No, having a rational position against increasingly insane ideas does not mean the right has moved at all - only that they have to defend normalcy more and more.
Years ago I was involved in a project where we were trying to find where the web attacks on a non-profit group were coming from. We discovered that there were 200+ websites dedicated to the attacks. It turned out that those 200+ sites were authored by a total of 3 different people, inventing phony sites.
This is true of most attacks. They are financed and there are companies who specialize in this.... for a fee.
