I’m no fan of Musk. What he is doing is entertaining, but he is a transhumanist and his religion is right there with WEF guru Yuval Harari - an evil demented man and Schwab’s tech understudy.
He reminds me of a modern day Thomas Edison. I have no knowledge or judgment about him outside of his professional achievements and they are profound.
I believe we need smart people to solve our problems once again because the current class of American rulers are idiots. Even the news is comical and this article is a prime example.
No one is being forced to put a microchip in their brain.
It will be offered to paraplegics and quadriplegics first, to regain the use of their limbs.
Musk believes Artificial Intelligence is inevitable and humans that don’t upgrade by having a computer in their head will become obsolete. Like chimps trying to get on in the 20th Century industrial economy.
Musk is a self proclaimed atheist. Most of the leadership in government and business in the West are atheist that pretend to be Christian.
lol at any billionaire that is not a very specific type of Christian is being rewarded by Satan.
Thank you for posting.
Elon Musk is a corporatist (who took $4.9 Billion in taxpayer subsides for three companies).
Elon Musk is a hedonist (who flouts all conservative moral imperatives).
Elon Musk is a transhumanist (who owns Neuralink, which tortures experimental animals with brain chips).
I concluded the man was a “grifter” (as some right-wing pundits then labeled him) back in 2008. Since I am not envious of the wealthy as such, I then promptly forgot about him until he became yet another desperate attempt by the cookie-cutter conservatives to convert an overt enemy of Natural Law - that created by the Creator of our “unalienable rights” - into an ally out of a need for some sort of hero or savior.
I consider that self-proclaimed hophead (with his smug $420/share and $54.20/share jokes) a dangerously deranged person, and I do not trust him at all. Or, rather, I trust him to do only what is in the interest of Elon Musk. Maybe that thrills Ayn Randian Objektivists, but it does not thrill me.
If any of you want to revere the man, that is your choice and your mistake. This lifelong conservative and ordained minister refuses to do so, and will use his Freedom of Speech to expose Elon Musk for who and what he is.
For instance, Elon Musk was not a founder of Tesla:
Tesla was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning in July 2003. Elon Musk bought his way into the company with $6.5 Million in February 2004.
For instance, Elon Musk was not a founder of Confinity (PayPal):
Confinity (later PayPal) was founded by Peter Thiel, Luke Nosek and Max Levchin in December 1998. X[.]com, was founded by Elon Musk in March 1999; it was merged with Confinity in March 2000. The pre-existing business model of Confinity (PayPal) became the sole focus of the new entity.
I see media on both sides of the aisle repeatedly describe him as a founder of either or both; that is historically false. He may be an able entrepreneur, but he did not do the original engineering and innovating that enabled either of those companies.
Yet he gets (and takes) the major credit for each.
P.S.
Why do so many on the ostensible right, who found Anthony Fauci and his Beagles repugnant, have no problem with Elon Musk and his Pigs and Monkeys?
P.P.S.
I suggest all who are excessively enamored of this adherent of Scientism read “That Hideous Strength” by C. S. Lewis. Lewis saw transhumanism coming 70 years ago.
I announced to the family, now decades ago, that I had no intention in participating in the 21st century, so I probably should not comment. However, when I read, “Cate Blanchett is the latest left-wing Hollywood star to sound the alarm on Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter”, I then think it can’t be all that bad.
Well, you have to be very alert about who you follow or admire.
Elon Musk has seven children? With three different women?
And he doesn’t live with any of them?
He is too busy saving the world, I guess.
Providing for your children financially is important. But Elon is not what I consider a “good role model”.
He was doing research into helping people paralyzed be able to walk again.
But by golly you’re off the vaccine on this thread so I guess kudos are in order.
