No, the accusations that Antifa leftest make against conservatives is an analogy. Regardless of the Nazi Azov Battalion propaganda you post here, the Azov Battalion and much of the Ukrainian military and government are clearly actual Nazis.
The nation of Ukraine is no more "linked" to nazism than our nation is, even though Antifa and Putin's gang say both the USA and Ukraine are full of nazis.
This year of 2022 is certainly the strangest of my lifetime. I never imagined that the mainstream media would be advocating for the US military to intervene in the defense of real Nazis. I also never imagined that actual Nazi sympathizers would be posting Nazi propaganda here on Free Republic.
Again, these desperate attempts to equate the US with the clearly Nazi sympathetic Ukrainian government are pathetic and weak. The leaders of Ukraine have supported and protected real self-professed Nazis in their military and government for decades. The Ukrainian nation is inextricably linked to the Nazism, just as it was 78 years ago. This is not America's fight and it isn't worth one drop of American blood or one drop of American treasure.

Ukrainians as Nazis is about as likely as German professors as Cossacks. Their respective temperaments are too incompatible to make the leap. Ukrainians have, throughout history, done some heinous things, especially to Jews, of which I am one. But they did it as wild men, Cossacks and Vikings, not as machine-like automatons.

And maybe they are in some ironic way. Putin has gotten more than ten of his soldiers killed for every member of the Azov battalion so far and he still hasn't "de-nazified" the city where they are based.

Based on the poor knowledge of history you have demonstrated on this thead, you may not know that Ukraine was occupied by Germany from 1941 until 1944. So yes, Ukraine was Nazi 78 years ago.

No, but his predecessor Stalin starved around 7,000,000 Ukrainians and Krushchev wasn't much better when Stalin appointed him to manage a purge of Ukraine in 1937. Many Ukrainians looked on the Nazis as liberators during the invasion and they became ready collaborators with the Nazis, just as many Ukrainian politicians, military officers, and citizens are still sympathetic to the Nazis today.

By your logic since Ukraine was invaded and occupied by the nazis in the second world war it "was Nazi" and therefore somehow still is. But you don't seem to have that same opinion about Germany or France.
If a nation invaded by nazis in the 1940s is somehow still a nazi country then what is Germany today?

The U.S. has had a hand in numerous projects intent on destabilizing Ukraine’s governments.
A recent declassification of over 3,800 documents by the Central Intelligence Agency has revealed it operated two major programs intent on not only destabilizing Ukraine but ‘Nazifying’ it with followers of the World War II Ukrainian Nazi leader Stepan Bandera.
The documents, which were released earlier in the year, said that programs, spanning over four years, provided funding and equipment for such anti-Soviet Ukrainian resistance groups as the Ukrainian Supreme Liberation Council among a host of others.
The papers gave details of the AERODYNAMIC program which intended to destabilize Ukraine, using exile Ukrainian agents in the West who were infiltrated into the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
“The purpose of Project AERODYNAMIC is to provide for the exploitation and expansion of the anti-Soviet Ukrainian resistance for cold war and hot war purposes,” the formerly top secret document dated July 13, 1953 says of the project.
“Such groups as the Ukrainian Supreme Council of Liberation (UHVR) and its Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN), the Foreign Representation of the Ukrainian Supreme Council of Liberation (ZPUHVR) in Western Europe and the United States, and other organizations such as the OUN/B will be utilized,” the document continued.
The CIA documents show that under the AERODYNAMIC program the CIA operated an affiliate project codenamed CAPACHO.
According to the Signs of the Times magazine CAPACHO “took on more of a psychological warfare operation veneer,” with the CIA setting up a propaganda company in Manhattan that “catered to printing and publishing anti-Soviet ZPUHVR literature that would be smuggled into Ukraine.”
The AERODYNAMIC and CAPACHO projects continued in operation through the Richard Nixon administration during the 1970s.
But the U.S. continues to implement destabilizing projects in Ukraine.
