It might be a good idea to return that 2 lbs of Lard to your shopping list. It’s a good clean, healthy fat and with the upcoming cooking oil shortage it might be a good thing to have around for cooking.
And a lit birthday candle in a jar of lard or shortening is a winter heat source for a small space. Burns for hours.
