Great point, and one often missed. It’s not the form of government that makes or breaks oppression. It’s the character of those in power. Our form of government has grown out of control, and all endorsed by those in power, all three branches agree the government they control is in bounds, legitimate, and morally righteous, standing up to deliver freedom, opportunity, equality and justice to the people who elected them, and blah blah blah.
The system looks good on paper, but the people running it are spawn-of-satan rotten.
That's right. All it takes is one good shot to take care of the problem instead of 100,000.
Somehow that reminds me of Covid vaccines.

Always said the intention of going after The Second Amendment was to ultimately go after the First.
While you indeed may have a point, there is a problem. You (for the most part) can’t tell a Democrat by looking at them. Not only that, they lie quite naturally.
I think I have a solution...put a suspected Democrat in a room with three things: a gun, a Bible, and a portrait of Donald Trump. If they have an averse reaction to any of them, they’re a Democrat.
