Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson is gunning for Sheriff Grady Judd’s title as the coolest lawman in America. Go figure, they both serve communities in the great state of Florida.
In a press conference on Thursday, reports The Blaze, Johnson briefed the media on the recent arrest of a one Brandon Harris, who Johnson described as a “frequent flyer” with a rap sheet going back to when he was only 13 years old.
Apparently, Harris decided to go on a string of home burglaries. At one home, a resident opened fire on Harris. Sadly, the homeowner was a terrible shot and didn’t hit Harris. He did scare Harris away, though. Undeterred, Harris went to yet another home, where he would be apprehended by law enforcement.
Now, the county has a lifelong criminal in custody who is facing “felony attempted burglary with assault, two counts of felony burglary to an occupied dwelling, felony burglary to an unoccupied dwelling, resisting arrest without violence, criminal mischief, and attempted larceny.” He’ll be suckling at the government tit for the foreseeable future, and that doesn’t sit well with Sheriff Johnson.
During his press conference, Johnson told citizens, “If somebody is breaking into your house, you’re more than welcome to shoot at them in Santa Rosa County. We prefer that you do, actually. […] [I]f somebody's breaking into your house, you've got all the right in the world to defend yourself. Of course [Harris] didn't get hit, and now we've gotta pay for him.”

I like him!
Sounds appropriate.

***Tellin’ it like it is.
hopefully this will be the first of many..............
Must be one of Biden's relatives.
Let's Go, Brandon!
Or Kamellia’s half step brother twice removed….
He accepts the principle of private property. That goes against the whole philosophy of the democrat party, which says that the “oppressed” have the right to waltz right in and take what is “rightfully” theirs from their “oppressors.”
Reality: someone breaks into your home, he has chosen to end his life.
(1) It’s cheaper and safer for taxpayers in the long-run.
(2) It’s just another example of how our courts have failed us.
He’s got my vote. Well, he would if I lived in his county in FL.
Liberal: Do you value your stuff over a human life?
Conservative: He valued my stuff over his life.
Reason number 621 of why I moved to Florida 15 years ago.
When the cop was taking the perp to the patrol car, did he say, “Let’s go, Brandon”
Stuff is a part of our life, in that we traded our time to earn the money to buy it.
Therefore, thieves are committing incremental murder.
You don’t have to tell me twice....
Dead criminals by the hands of their potential victims helps to discourage criminals.
Those cities overrun with gangs fighting over turf wars and poisoning whole generations of their neighbors with drugs that they sell? No amount of government can ever stop them because they know Democrats and race hustlers can be counted on to be sympathetic.
Only their neighbors can put them down and have them stay down. That’s because fear of what their victims may do to them is the only fear that works.
But that means proverbial grandmothers stop caring who was once their precious grandbaby and side with the youth’s intended victims.
Incidentally,IIRC in the past our courts have held that wages are not income because what we trade for the money (chunks of our lives) isn’t itself fungible. Income is when it’s from an investment.
That’s the solution to the rampant crime wave.
