“China Rocks” according to Musk. He sees China’s economy being 2-3 times the size of the US and wants in on it. He’s not just building Teslas there. He thinks he’ll sell a lot of them there. He’s a very high functioning autistic person but autistic people tend to be naive.
A common tell in people like Musk, is admiration of the Chinese government and their people, just for the sake of his business associations.
I don’t trust Musk anymore than I have access to his money. He talks “chit” that plays to the audience he is addressing at the moment. That is why one finds so much contradiction in the words he utters, for it all depends on who he is talking to as to which Musk you get to see & hear.
He’s not a natural-born citizen, for real. Unlike many certain stuck-on-stupid folks try to disqualify based on their own contrived definition of NBC.

but if God could use a man like Trump in 2016 to change the course of American history, He can certainly use a grifter like Musk to do the same, now.
I don’t have to love., hate, or fear Musk to admire him and approve of his takeover of Twitter.
My cat has an account there @CatsOfTwitter and it’s good fun. Political tweets are all WW3, nasty as they come. You should see the haters responding to DeSantis. I took a look and immediately bailed out.
“Grimes” is the singer he had a child with. Don’t know that she’s a commie, but she’s serious about taking care of the child and wants to live in a nice upper middle-class gated community where their family will be safe. She says that Elon is a terrific father, very involved with their child. They want three more.
Vanity Fair magazine had an article about it a month or so ago. I listened to her music, not something I’d like and you wouldn’t either, rather a tinny voice, but she does have an audience and makes plenty of $$$.
Not the way you or I would live, but for younger people, not so bad.
I don’t believe Musk has any evil thoughts or plans but once neuralink is perfected, others will get a hold of it or duplicate it for not so good reasons. Of course if he doesn’t do it, someone will. The technology is just that far along.
The other thing is secular people that think AI will be god like. I don’t think God will be thrilled with that.
Then there’s addiction. How many are addicted to tech already? Just wait for VR to come further along. Then attach it to the neural system. People won’t leave their houses. They’ll be busy banging a virtual 10 year old with full sensation.
There’s a movie called Strange Days that’s along those lines and while it does have murder scenes and possibly rape, it’s all adult characters. Been a couple of decades since I watched it.
Others like Klaus and Co wish to be superhumans that have the lifespan of someone from the Old Testament, 900 years. The military will want a different type of augmentation.
Then there’s the whole Skynet becoming self aware aspect of AI.
I probably won’t see those things but my kids aren’t even 21 yet.
Joe Allen is hard on Musk because the possible future scares the crap out of him and Musk is as far along with it as anyone. That and Musk isn’t really based in reality in some ways. Gonna colonize Mars because this planet will be uninhabitable soon. Compare conditions here to the climate of Mars. I’m sitting here surrounded by springs that pump out a gazillion gallons per hour of potable water. Not perfect but potable. A good ceramic water filter makes it very potable and clean. No way this place is going to be worse than Mars in the next millennia.

Received Joe Allen’s book “Dark Aeon” today . Read the Bannon foreword and now reading the preface.
Have also been reading Old Testament Samuel….The Lord smites those who raise false gods and worship false prophets…. Pretty bloody annihilation.

Just received this book today and looking forward to reading. Seems well researched and documented including index and bibliography. I am a critical reader.
Keep me informed as to what you learn. I have a hard time reading books anymore with my macular degeneration.
My person belief at this point is the transhumanism is somewhat akin to the climate change. A claim to take control and obtain power. IOW mostly a hoax.
BTW, Joe Allen’s new book Dark Aeon looks like it may be a worth while read, but I do not give much credence to it all. Maybe it is just beyond my comprehension. 😋
