A lot of it is used for cryptic meetings to organize and pay for social agitation and inducing anarchy. I would imagine it’s not cheap to maintain a (inter?)national network of people to swoop in and stir the pot any time you want to attack law enforcement.

If BLM founders were going to divert contributions into real estate investments, they could have at least invested in section 8 housing. They would at least have a ready made plea for leniency at sentencing for criminal fraud that their theft unintentionally benefitted others as well.
