That is my take as well.
I always watch what people do and ignore what they say.
They are acting like they have a real serious contagious disease they are dealing with, not the coronavirus sniffles.
If they've done the virus thing again, with a different virus, then maybe we ought to nuke the Three Gorges Dam and say, "Oops. My bad."
They acted that way the first time though too. Remember people being locked in homes, dropping dead, street sprayers, head shaved nurses?
My guess is that mass psychosis is running rampant; combined with blind emperor worship where if you question the narrative you get “re-educated.” Few wish to note that the emperor is wearing no clothes.
