China is taking cats from their owner for extermination. The cats are collected in bags and hauled off for extermination.
This video is going viral on social media. It is not clear when it was filmed but there are numerous reports out of China killing pets, some abandoned, due to COVID.

In the beginning Man created many modified corona viri.
I assume there was an accident, or maybe a rouge AI something. Who knows?
Many were released, not just one strain.
I recall watching people die horribly in the street in the beginning, but the variants that spread rapidly through the world are the less lethal ones cause the hosts are not killed or obviously sick before they go around spreading the disease.
China and the nih are trying to contain something they are very afraid of.
Something they know is spreading there, but have not seen or been told about here yet (in my opinion)
