Haven’t heard back yet. I just sent an e-mail with a link to this article about half an hour ago.
“Much of the country was locked down at this time in 2020 and 2021, yet grain harvests happened, grain was transported to where it was supposed to go, and livestock got fed.
What’s different now, other than Trump not being president?
One big thing is the price of diesel, and the rippling effect on transportation costs.”
Back in 2020, demand for and the price of oil plummented and hundreds of oil rigs in TX, ND and PA shut down. Now demand is back up but as it takes awhile to being the oil rigs back into production, prices skyrocketed because of the shortage.
Not a big deal for those of us who have stocked and are part of a network of people who raise animals and grow food.
It’ll be a big deal when the grocery store shelves are empty and the Brandon’s millions of “migrants” start roaming the countryside like the walking dead looking for food.

Why is the NOQ to be dismissed?
If it was the NY Times, would it be credible?
It’s a helluva walk to where I live.
There will be a helluva lot of walkers.
For sure but not where I live. Having to walk hundreds of miles will be too much. If you look at the famines in China, Africa, the Ukraine and Ireland, you don’t see mass movement by foot over great distances of people starving to death. What your describing would be a historical anamoly.
