40-50 pieces of Russian equipment lost in one artillery strike.

“2 days ago, the Operational Command “East” of the Ukrainian Army posted video that claimed to show “over 40” Russian vehicles destroyed by Ukrainian Artillery fire on a Russian rear base. We did not publish it, as we couldn’t verify the claim or the target. However...”

“It actually turns out that this claim was legitimate, with at least 35 vehicles totally destroyed or damaged; mostly supply or fuel trucks, but with BMP/T-72 variant also. This is a serious blow.”

Not an impartial source.
Does he track Uke losses?

Russian MOD claims destroyed Uke almost 2,000 tanks and over 135 acft

Might as well compare both biased sources

I looked through that site somewhat, and it appears to have serious documentation via photographic evidence. I didn’t check for possible double counting, but other people there have commented when they think two photos show them same destroyed piece of equipment. So I don’t know how you can not take that site seriously.

Speedy doesn’t have to do your homework for you. You are more than welcome to post your other sources.

Speedy has been consistently posting for many weeks now. His source has photographic evidence for EVERY SINGLE tank or vehicle reported. You can click a link for each and every one.

If your source is this good, post it.

>> Russian MOD claims destroyed Uke almost 2,000 tanks and over 135 acft <<

Not an impartial source, but based on individually identified, documented destruction. The Russians have been utterly defeated on Ukraine’s North front. The entirety of the Cherniyiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kiev oblasts have been retaken, and there have been significant Russian losses of territory in Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts. (I may be mis-naming the oblasts because I’m not 100% sure each is named after their principle city.) The invasion of Zaporizhzhia has stalled well short of the principal city of Zaporizhzhia. Really, the only territory the Russians have gained since before the invasion is most of Kherson oblast, South of Donetsk oblast (but still not the besieged city of Mariupol), the empty northwest corridor of Kharkiv, and much of the North of Luhansk.

If you want to believe Russian sources which claim such devastating victories, you go ahead.

Of course, there’s the Russian Peewee-Herman excuse that they really only wanted the Donbas, and the invasions of Kharkiv, Kiev, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv were feints by Russia, but I notice that the Russians are NOT pulling back out of the Southern front, where thanks to the help of separate sympathizers and the protection of the Dneiper, they’ve had more success.

Honest bda reporting…covers both sides
Otherwise no meaningful comparison

Source is biased. Duplicate photos and many of the photos aren’t even from Ukraine. Additionally, a large portion are actually destroyed ukranian equipment.

Perhaps if the goal is determining who is winning this particular war. But some of us want to know simply how many losses the Russians have taken, how much equipment they are being left with at the end of this, etc.

Putin early on announced the objectives of the special operation

Most of what you cite not being among them based on what Putin announced. If he ends up with no Ukraine in NATO, land access secured to Crimea, two independent or at least autonomous from Kiev oblasts in the East where the Uke govt is not letting neo- nationalists kill its own people, and destruction of elite ultranationalist organizations able to project undue political and military/paramilitary power against dissenting Ukrainians…then he achieves his stated objectives. Also showing the developing world the pitfalls of the US pressuring their sovereignty for the audacity of remaining neutral, by weaponizing the USD, gold, and seizing reserves and property of nations and nationals / by ethnicity.

But if you prefer the NATO/ Pentagon/Rand and legion of credential armchair warriors’ version of what they think are Putin's objectives, then so be it

Failure to fully understand and respect the adversary is an eye- opener with Western govt, policies driven by emotion, misinformation. Or deliberate calculation to bring general war. As the population is being prepared.

“Small town and rural Ukraine is much more prosperous by comparison”

Russian peasants conscripts are going to remember this when they go home. They will know that there’s a better life across the border, and ask themselves why they should toil and shed blood for Putin when he and his cronies just steal everything for themselves.
