Real mothers (and some fathers) bake cookies for their children. You more than likely have fond and very wholesome memories of your mom baking. You got to lick the spoon, maybe the bowl. Yeah, it had raw eggs in it and you survived. You may remember the smell of cookies and other baked goods in the oven ... and having to patiently wait. Your mom lovingly gave you a big glass of whole milk and cookies straight from the oven. Those cookies taste better than anything from the grocery store. You may have had friends over, and they thought your mom was great. Your house was the place everyone wanted to be.
