“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law. Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”

I would boycott it if I ever got anything from it to begin with…although beware, because it is now a producer and makes many movies, has a channel, etc. so it can be hard to avoid.
However, I think there should be a national campaign, although I don’t know who could lead it.
But if Disney can announce that their goal “as a company” is to get a legitimate, “will of the people,” legislatively passed law repealed or overturned, then they should suffer consequences as a company.
I have yet to hear anyone say why this is bad legislation.
We hear these statements such as these, where they say they support the gay community, we have to be inclusive, etc.
What I have not heard anyone say, is why it is bad to forbid discussion of gay and transgender issues in the young elementary school grades.
I have not heard anyone say, that in opposing this legislation, they are in effect in favor of having discussions of gay and trans and God knows what else in school.
And the Disney cruises cost much more than Disney World. At least at the parks the parents pretty much are in sight of their kids most of the time. On ships the Disney employees have free rein over the kids for large chunks of time. There were many Disney employees arrested in the porn/trafficking sting a week or two ago.

Why do corporations such as Disney get involved in social issues? Is it supposed to increase their profits? Do they down deep consider it the moral thing to do?
Disney: We believe the smell of anal sex should be enjoyed by all.
Perhaps I missed it, but exactly when, why and how did Disney become a bastion for queers, perverts and sexual deviants?

Not sure EXACTLY when, but we stopped going there about 30 years ago after seeing so many PDAs between homosexual couples all over the place. So, I’d say 30+ years ago.
