Prior to the unlimited renewals of the strictly "temporary" Patriot Act, I would've thought that this was unhinged ranting. But when the Obama DHS declared pro-lifers and small government people extremists and then the Biden DHS went so far as to declare anybody who questioned the government's actions and the Covid narrative a domestic terrorist, then maybe it's not so unhinged after all.

Please consider that the Deep State and the Leftist Media all uniformly use the term "insurrectionist" about anybody who questions the election results. And they use the term "traitor" regarding anybody who questions marching blindly toward WWIII. I tend to think there is a reason for this.

Please consider the provisions of 8 U.S. Code ยง 1481 - Loss of nationality by native-born or naturalized citizen; voluntary action; burden of proof; presumptions

committing any act of treason against, or attempting by force to overthrow, or bearing arms against, the United States, violating or conspiring to violate any of the provisions of section 2383 of title 18, or willfully performing any act in violation of section 2385 of title 18, or violating section 2384 of title 18 by engaging in a conspiracy to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, if and when he is convicted thereof by a court martial or by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Would a court in, say, the District of Columbia or the Southern District of New York, support conviction of Trump supporters? (Sure, I know in other circuits it wouldn't...but you'll note where the Jan 6th Political Prisoners are being confined...I don't think that's an accident)

Again, 20 years ago, no way I'd say that. Not even 10 years ago...

Do you have a "plan b" set up yet? Note that you don't have to have millions of dollars to do so. I only had a moderately funded 401k (far less than $1M) and successfully got out of Dodge. Better to have a plan in place months or years early rather than a single day late.

There are countries in the Caribbean and Central America that have been building American ex-pat communities. But to get residency they will relieve you of a chunk of your 401K as a ‘fee’. I’m not suggesting any of this, BTW.

People want Ron Desantis to run for president. But politicians like Desantis need to remain in the Governors’ mansions and act as a bulwark against federal overreach. That may be our best bet. The Democrats own the federal bureaucracy. Republicans won most of the State Houses and governorships. Time to start playing to our strengths.

If you really want to get away from things, I'd suggest someplace in Asia or Oceania.

Myself, I chose Thailand. Malaysia is also pretty good, parts of Indonesia, or possibly some of the islands out there such as Fiji. An off the wall possibility is the Spratleys (separating the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal).

But the bottom line is that there are any number of choices out there, some pricey, some quite reasonable (my visa costs me about $100 a year and since I'm married to a Thai, I'll be eligible for the equivalent to a green card in a couple of years. Then no more visas).
