There is no point to it. Like Presidential debates all it really serves is the medias ability to propagandize or perform character assassination.

Someone should ask Ketanji Brown Jackson how she would have decided against Kavanaugh for his assumed teenage “petting”

If a pedophile is sentenced to 3 months…what does someone get for feeling a girl up, 30yrs after?

Fleshing this out a bit more…a senator should ask her…if someone found with kiddy porn on their computer when they were 20 should be able to become a SCOTUS judge 30 yrs later.

And then ask…

Should a person accused of sexual assault 30 yrs after the fact be considered for a SCOTUS position.

Then ask if it matters if either scenario has been proven beyond a shadow of doubt.

Or…ask her the punishment she would render if someone was accused of sexual assault if there was no evidence of such, 30 years later.

Would it matter if they were considered a conservative vs a democrat? Black vs White?

Even her dodges have exposed her.

Lord God, please derail the confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson as a SCJ.

“Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson faces additional questions on her third day of confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

TOP TAKEAWAYS FROM SECOND DAY OF JACKSON’S SUPREME COURT HEARINGS

Jackson, who would become the first black woman appointed to the high court, faced scrutiny from Republicans on Tuesday, who began inquiring into the nominee’s past rulings on matters such as child pornography. The GOP lawmakers also grilled her on court packing, her religious convictions, Roe v. Wade, and her approach to crime, signaling a likely contentious confirmation process.

Thank you. Please continue and finish the job.

Both sides participate in the televised hearings as performance art offering a national stage to posture and pander. To posture for votes and pander for campaign contributions.

And that was largely the doing of Joseph Biden.

Ms wannabe scotus judge,

How are we supposed to believe all women, when you don’t even know what the definition of “woman” is?

... which makes you wonder just how smart she really is? 2 Degrees from Harvard would suggest ‘very’, but she really hasn’t done very well in testimony.

Yes, and our vice president was elected California DA. And our “media” swore they all were ‘qualified’. I’m beginning to see a pattern.

When it comes to Democrat Presidential nominees to the SC, why go through the kabuki theatre of Senate hearing? Just nominate a robot. The Dem appointees are a very cohesive political bunch that have never in the past 60 years gone astray and ruled against marquee Democrat legislative or policy issues. You will never find a Souter, Warren, Stevens, Kennedy, Roberts or O’Connor and a host of other Republican justices that went liberal or maintained a moderate strain among them. Law has little to do with Dem appointed SC justices. Just program the robot to follow Kagan or Sotomayer’s lead. And you don’t even have to pay it. Paint it black or brown if you want to play the diversity game.

Years after the Bork fiasco, I read an interesting article that said the whole thing was supported behind the scenes by REPUBLICANS who resented him for his role in the Nixon administration’s “Saturday Night Massacre.”

...but we did learn all we need to know with KBJ’s dodge on Blackburn’s ‘woman’ question. Unfit to serve.
