I suspect that some in our government are Georgia Guidestones people who, instead of merely encouraging birth control, sterilizations and abortions (!), see this whole mess as the opportunity for a shortcut, if you know what I mean.

As a kid I remember hearing that the pilgrims at the Plymouth colony used fish as fertilizer.

They would put the fish heads at the base of the corn plants they planted.

I agree. Most of this ongoing and increasing mess is intentional. They must not realize that they’re also going to suffer the consequences.

Russia has been the top exporter of WHEAT, followed by Ukraine. American exports of corn and soybeans make US the top exporter of foodstuffs.

I’m reading that there’s a shortage of natgas at the plants that make ammonium nitrate. This will hurt our corn crop; corn is notoriously hungry for nitrogen, and since too much of our industrial rowcropping doesn’t practice rotation anymore, soils are nitrogen-deficient unless slathered with ammonium nitrate every season. And water. Corn requires a lot of water, so it’s drought-sensitive, too.

Meanwhile my eastern Ohio region’s small farmers are heavy into grass-fed beef. Going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

All the globalists have to do is delay fertilizer through planting season.

Nobody will cry about it until the shelves are REALLY empty.

Every sewage treatment plant in every town in America produces tons and tons of sludge every day. Great fertilizer.

I’ve got ten gallons of goat manure and 2.5 of chicken manure. Also got some comfrey plants last year and should be able to start clipping from them this year. Will be making compost from the chicken manure. Goat manure can be used straight in the garden and comfrey tea makes a great fertilizer.

I grew up with chickens, and Dad had a couple of acres of truck garden. The chicken manure went to be composted, Dad considered it “too hot” to go directly onto the garden. Ditto horse manure.

Worst job I had as a teen was the yearly cleanout of the chicken coops. That and spraying the apples with DDT.

Never wore a mask, much less a respirator the way it’s done now.

Then what? When the Democrats demand that you to share YOUR food with them, aim center mass.

I get my groceries delivered so I’ll be good…I don’t get my food from farms.

Dairy Cow manure is the best! Visit a local dairy farmer and politely ask for a few buckets. Works great for small home gardens.

I had to create a risk assessment back in college regarding sewage sludge on food crops. It was quite a learning experience as the practice was new at the time and folks were quite averse to the idea. Very, very few crops has an uptake of harmful waste materials. The ones most at risk according to my information were any children that might be around those particular fields. The adults were well below exposure level concerns.

And, of course, they’ll be rubbing their hands in glee as it would take at least a year (until the next growing season) to resolve such a disruption, even if the fertilizer is flowing next month.

Sooo… we keep oil in the ground, dedicate millions of acres growing corn as car fuel, and wonder why there may be a food shortage. Everything we do in this country is upside down. Example: We protect sovereign borders of other nations but leave our borders wide open.

In Mao’s China, all human waste was collected to be sent to the collective farms.

I also heard that in present-day North Korea, everyone is given a quote of human waste they must produce. Since most people are malnourished, most people can’t meet the quota, so a lot of fakery goes on.

Yikes. Granddad always said to NEVER use the waste of a carnivore for fertilizer purposes. Prions and all that(?)

America was supplying it’s own fertilizer and growing grain long before we were buying it from anyone else.

What, we’ve forgotten how to do that?

There will be plenty of fertilizer once they round up and ground up all the dissidents. And also the corpses of the starved I suppose.
