Joe Rogan noted on his podcast that the Western narrative on Ukraine has flipped 180 degrees in a few weeks from the country having a horrible corrupt government to being heroic allies against the Russian scourge.
“I have this screenshot that someone sent me,” Rogan stated, “about the way the people on the left were talking about the Ukraine situation before the war.”
He continued, “This is one of the things that’s so weird is that they were very disparaging of Ukraine, and they were talking about the massive corruption of Ukraine, and how horrible it was over there.”
“And now, all of a sudden, they’re looking at it like they’re heroes. The same exact people. This is what’s confusing,” the host added.
Rogan then read out points from the screenshot he referenced wherein Ukraine was labeled “the most corrupt nation in Europe” with an “increasingly corrupt and authoritarian” leader who is seeking to deepen an “alliance with the far right”.
“We’re supposed to just veer away from the narrative that was being pushed just a couple years ago,” Rogan asserted.
Rogan also went on to point out how insane it is that Facebook and other social media platforms are officially sanctioning violent rhetoric against Russians, exclaiming “What the f*ck is that? What is that?”
A wounded animal is most dangerous when cornered. This what I fear about Putin. I fear that our politicians are throwing their support behind Ukraine/ Zelensky to have the best chance of hiding their own corruption. I do not like the feel of this situation AT ALL. The pieces of this puzzle do not fit together well. I feel like the “volcano” could blow at any moment . . . I’m very uneasy.
The wounded animal sits in DC. That is the one I am worried about.

Russia nukes only make it troubling.
Ukraine is corrupt and has a nazi problem. Doesn’t mean Russia should invade, though I can’t blame Putin for being fearful of NATO. In the ideal world NATO would have ceased to exist after the fall of Soviet Union and Western countries could have moved forward with Russia.
Perhaps the only coherent strategy at all of this is that people don’t want Russia to conquer Ukraine.
But so far that goal doesn’t seem clearly part of a real foreign policy plan.
Biden just wants to keep corrupt deals going, “getting %10.”
Foreign strategy is an absolute mess, and its only dwarfed by Biden’s absolute dumpster fire economy.

Twitter suspended several accounts yesterday for posting video testimony and actual footage of Ukrainian forces committing war crimes in Mariupol against civilians. Go figure.
But there are people calling others neocons for being against war, and basically implying a country being corrupt is justification for invading a country.
If that were true, then the whole world should be at constant war. It would make World War II look like a hippie rally.

Kiev is corrupt in the way most Eastern European countries are. So is Moscow, maybe Moscow is off the charts.
This doesn’t mean that Americans should lay down in the face of an invasion, nor should Ukrainians. As for who is right and who is wrong, whose army is on whose side of the border, shelling whose cities. Easy.
