Of course it’s unlikely,
but it could happen. That’s just how crazy the world is.

Wolf, actually, with the lamb 👍
Isaiah 11:6
21st Century King James Version
6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Nice pic.
It's so weird how the wolf came to be mistaken for the lion in popular culture. Now the Lion of Judah, that's a different story, and I don't think I'd want to be around when the seals are dealed.
...”And the lion shall lay [sic] down with the lamb”...
nice grammar there......
My guess is because Jesus Christ is both Lion and Lamb they somehow got conflated over time
Yeah.
Love it
Yeah the first seal is the Beast (man of sin, colloquial: Antichrist)
“…the paradox of all the prophets was fulfilled, and, in the soul of St. Louis, the lion lay down with the lamb. But remember that this text is too lightly interpreted. It is constantly assured, especially in our Tolstoyan tendencies, that when the lion lies down with the lamb the lion becomes lamb-like. But that is brutal annexation and imperialism on the part of the lamb. That is simply the lamb absorbing the lion instead of the lion eating the lamb. The real problem is—Can the lion lie down with the lamb and still retain his royal ferocity? THAT is the problem the Church attempted; THAT is the miracle she achieved.”
GK Chesterton
It is a lovely thought, as your posted picture is also lovely. Seems to come down to "knowledge of the Lord," such that in this seemingly secular age, such knowledge remains crucial.
Best wishes.
Was gonna say that! Thanks for the correction. People always get this wrong for some reason.
Before or after dinner?
Maybe the lion lays eggs? In the second grade, the teacher would throw an eraser at you if you used “lay” instead of “lie”. LOL...musta worked!
And the lamb lies down on Broadway.
2000 years ago, there were different animals roaming the Earth, some of which may be extinct now.
Given the above, and since the Bible required translation, many of these terms may not be accurate as we read them today.
Never underestimate humanity’s ability to impart their own interpretation into a translation.
Human sacrifice!
Dogs and cats living together!
Mass hysteria!
I heard a good joke from an Orthodox Jew, my mentor at ASU:
“The Jerusalem Zoo opened a new exhibit, ‘The Lion Lays Down with the Lamb.’ It was immensely popular. The first day, a curtain rolled back on a cage and sure enough, a lion was there just curled up with a lamb. The audience cheered.
Next day, same thing.
A journalist asked the head of the zoo, ‘Moishe, how do you do it? How do you get the lion to lay down with the lamb.’
He replied, ‘Oh it’s easy. Every day we get a new lamb.’”
