My take is the simple observation that peace signs went with Viet Cong Commie flags in the anti-Vietnam War protests.

I recently saw a peace sign with the Ukrainian flag.

This simply reminds me that the Commies protesting the Vietnam War 50 plus years ago now are in our government both political parties making policy.]

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is his replacement. Rather than expertise, he offers charisma. Governments of the world and corporate media outlets have painted him as a man of peace who doesn’t have a corrupt bone in his body. But just like Fauci was not the brilliant angel that he was billed as by government and media, neither is Zelensky the Eastern European messiah figure representing peace and democracy.

Our current US president offers neither. I don't care about Zelensky one way or another, but I'll note that he is leading his nation while it is being invaded, and he seems to be doing whatever he can to resist that invasion. That deserves respect.
