They will initially go on the cheap and follow Reagan’s lead from 1982 by deploying a whole new class of intermediate range nukes. NATO cities and installations will be in much greater jeopardy than they currently are. Where will the financing come from? China, of course. NATO is doing an incredible job of driving Russia into Xi’s servitude. All banking, financial, communication, trade, petro trade as of TODAY, goes through Beijing. At what price? Russia is now China’s proxy, tying up American military, economic and diplomatic assets and attention. Xi puts his money on Putin, Putin does the dirty work. At a similar point forty years Reagan spent the Warsaw Pact under the table. Are you and I ready to borrow Putin and Xi under the table. We are in a new generational arms race in Eastern Europe.
