Last Friday night in Idaho a swarm of police vehicles surrounded a group of people including the breastfeeding mother of a six-month old baby.
The baby and mother were put into an ambulance in which Officer Steve Hanson of the Garden City, Idaho Police took the child from the mother....
Breaking Update: The judge ordering the child into protective custody of the child protective services late this afternoon....

Last Friday night in Idaho a swarm of police vehicles surrounded a group of people including the breastfeeding mother of a six-month old baby.
The baby and mother were put into an ambulance in which Officer Steve Hanson of the Garden City, Idaho Police took the child from its mother.
Baby Cyrus was taken under a Child Protective Services over his weight. He was hospitalized between March 1st and 4th.
The story as I heard it was that his mother had missed a weigh-in appointment Friday over her illness.
Protesters came out hundreds over the weekend including demonstrators out at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise where Baby Cyrus was taken.
Also protests at Officer Steve Hanson’s house and at the home of Dr. Aaron Dykstra whose medical opinion weighed in on the CPS decision to take the baby.
In response to the protests Dr, Dykstra issued a statement saying he did not realize his opinion would lead to the seizure of the baby.
Those protests continued into the week.
And for the last two days a hearing underway at the Ada County Courthouse in Boise over the child’s future.

A close friend of Diego Rodriguez is Ammon Bundy of People’s Rights who is a candidate for Idaho Governor this year.
Bundy responded quickly to assist the Anderson family Friday night and wound up being arrested for trespassing by police at St. Luke’s Hospital.

A weight issue sighted the child was hospitalized the beginning of the month and the medical officials wanted regular weigh-ins one of them missed on Friday leading to quick and drastic action Friday night.

Underweight the baby at six months being breast fed a nursing mother I guess the natural way isn’t good enough for the government.

There’s no background on why they were placed in custody to begin with. Missing weigh in is irrelevant.

It doesn’t help that the Republican who win the elections are RINO’s from Governor Brad Little to the US Senators and members of Congress.
Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin takes a more conservative track than the GOP’s top elected officials and the Idaho Republican Party leadership.

Ammon Bundy is ready he is running as an independent and will offer a choice if Little gets past the primary.

Ammon Bundy felt his statement was a positive thing and the protests at his home ended with that statement as far as Ammon was concerned.
One of my grandchildren didn’t seem to be gaining weight at all. The child just stayed small and just ate enough to keep going. We were all trying to get the child to eat more, but nothing seemed to work. Parents were worried and doing the best they could but also worried that if they kept going to the doctor, they would be blamed for the low weight.
I finally put some Keifer in a sippy cup (about an inch or so) and the next morning that child started eating and over the next month was growing like crazy. I’d put a little Keifer in a cup about once or twice a weekend when they were visiting and kept that up for a month or so. After that, no more problems. I think some of the weight gain problems with little ones is that the gut bacteria has not yet developed so their milk doesn’t process properly.
Does seem drastic. Hard to say without all the backstory. Hope the kid comes out all right. Thanks.
